Many times they didn’t pay people the proper amount. Mismanaged and garbage company that can’t retain customers because of this. Got fired after working there for 9+ months because they have such little business. They did not book me in for the week and waited till the end of the week to tell me I’m being let go, wasting precious time I could have used to find another job. Terrible management, terrible food, terrible staff, just terrible

It can be a fun place to work, but management sucks the life out of the place. Very inconsistent, abuse of power. Lots of maintenance that needs to be done that is largely ignored by management. If you like wet broken floors, pipes, and aggressive regulars, this is the place for you.

The employees are fun with the couple bad apples, it’s disappointing how hypocritical management can be and how they treat their employees.

It was hard to work in such a hot truck sometimes, but it was bearable. The team worked great together all the time, we always had fun while working. The hardest part of the job, for me at least, was hearing what people were saying; at the festivals the music is loud and the crowd is loud too so I had to listen very carefully to those ordering. The most enjoyable part of the job, was the just whole experience in general.

The Coop Wicked Chicken has been one of the best places I've ever worked at. The staff and management team are extremely friendly and will listen to your needs and help out as much as possible. The work is manageable and side duties were easily completed before the shift was finished. The Atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. I would suggest working there as much as I can.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They make it a family atmosphere without saying/pushing it on you. Plus they have flexible hours

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Our busiest days are often the days where you have the most side tasks to do. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Serious but at the same time it is relaxed

I received little training, the management was poor and unorganized. There is no job security as they let me go for even questioning the treatment of myself and other staff. 

The Coop is the red headed step child for the MTY Group . It's only given attention when they feel like it . You're told one thing one thing one day , then the next you're told you're doing it wrong, what you were just told to do. 

HR , if you have an issue will just throw you under the bus instead of dealing with an issue. 

Used to enjoy it, but management changed and it became awful to work there. Turnover rate is insane. After a month or 2 everyone who worked there is either fired or quit. Don't chance it unless you enjoy the feeling of depression every day and dont plan on staying long.

Would not recommend if you want consistent hours or tips. Staff are constantly coming and going due to poor management and lack of proper training, and their definition of a "busy" dinner rush being 3 tables. They also cut hours randomly and won't let you know until minutes before. 

really love this job! great place to work, great people, great management! terrific work enviroment. Everyone who works here has great personalities and teach me alot, i learned alot from the people here. the most enjoyable part is the people i work with and the people we serve.
