after departure of bernard asselin in 2010 the old mentality of management came back 
no support from new management 
work and life balance was unexistent 
no reception for our accomplishments 
salary was low and the  rrsp program was weak 

This job was usually done through 2am until 6am. It taught me how to memorize things as I have to remember all the houses I deliver by heart and I was able to learn how to save time by finding the perfect route for me to go with to deliver all the newspaper on time.

U have to wake up really early to deliver the paper to the customers homes...management is fine...the hardest part is trying to see the numbers on the houses....but u are outside rain shine snow or heat.

Did not appreciate the work culture, the nepotism and back-stabbling. Some great writers but not so great editors. Lack of support and encouragement, and numerous cliques.

The Gazette has closed down.
They had a good pay, hours were so so, but the work environment wasn't so good. Bad attitudes people who should not have been working there .

The Gazette was a positive introduction of me into the workforce. The workload was light and very to manage, I would highly recommend as a first time job.

The Gazette gives new writers the opportunity to write about a variety of topics, from sports to news to music. I was able to improve my writing while having work published.
