The Georgian Peaks Club

A typical day: start up greeting the children; bringing in snacks; changing diapers and prep for sleep time. usually after this the parents pick up and take for lunch, play time is happening during this time.
What I learned: how to make the members feel important and the time be positive experience
Management : Learn how to listen and handle tricky interpersonal relationships.
Hardest part of the job is meeting challenging children, learning what makes them happy.
Most enjoyable part of the job: really is the orientation time at the beginning when they have a visiting speaker, the other part is when the children gravitate to some worker and feel at home with us.

The hours were amazing, chef was knowledgeable, was always open for questions. Was constantly teaching & coaching. The job changed everyday, from running a omelette bar, to preparing & helping set up a party in a different lodge. Always kept you interested & moving.

Arriving early, doing group ski sessions and preparing for the day. Learned how to properly teach kids to ski, and talk to parents. Was able to always ask questions, and take time off with prior notice. Loved spending the day with set group of kid skiers, and needed to work hard to keep kids focused.

It doesn't get any better than to earn money doing something you love. I learnt how to lead and teach groups of 10 or more with kids as old as 12. I also learnt how to manage expectation of parents and make sure that the kids, parents and my managers were satisfied with my performance.

Management was super good to me. I enjoyed working there. Only issue was the members and how entitled they are and they really don't care. Other than the actual members, I would highly recommend!

I had a great time working at Georgian peaks ski club as it as a laid back job and allowed me to have fun doing something I love, skiing.  It was a great job to balance on the side of school or another form of employment

Great management, treat you with respect. Family atmosphere. Departments help each other. After working at other resorts, the peaks has been the best to be a part of by a mile. Overall a great resort to be a part of!

awesome great people great management honestly feels like a seccond home you get a little bit wet at the beginning of the year but the supervisors will take good care of you

Awesome environment to work outside in. Members make the job more consistent and easy to become comfortable and at home while working.

Good coaching staff, management is generally good. Pay is about what you will find anywhere else along the escarpment, at least for coaching. Best hill in the area.
