working with the hazelwood company was great, got to meet friendly and caring workers, everyday was a good day working with the crew, the management of the construction zone was awesome, learned alot working at the site, learned how to have the road under regulations of MOT (ministry of transportation), safety of the roadway for the locals and construction crew, and safety for the gravel trucks and rock trucks to guide them safley through the construction zone, even helped with the safety of the workers while they were working in the ditch, watching for falling rocks so the crew dont get injured,  the hours were great, got to work through the worst of weather conditions:snow, rain, hail, cold temperatures (-28 and colder) heavy winds, it was great to know that working in these conditions were another challenge for the day, even had the chance to guide paramount film crew through the construction zone while i was doing traffic control, got to see a couple of movie stars while i was working traffic control,

Jobs are bid with such low profit margins that all the stress is put on the guys on the ground to pick up the slack. Management has absolutely no idea how to do the jobs they bid on so everything will be done the wrong way. It's very typical for this company to just walk away from jobs because they feel they've done what they think is the whole job when really they never finish anything.

Growing company with a good mix of at home and remote work.  Challenging and interesting projects and opportunities to get ahead.  Because it's a growing company, it's not always perfect but there is a lot of work year round.  They are always trying to improve which means they do have high expectations but it is a great company to work for.

They ask for much more from employees than In your job title. Clicky foreman who pick thier buddies for easy jobs and criticise the people who get put in harder jobs.

This place is a joke to work at and a waste of time. No one should ever be here or waste their time. Benefits are good but it’s because the dons dad is a big part of the 115. This company is a joke and treats their employees like trash. 

Great coworkers, and great ownership that cares about you. Good attention to employee safety and wellbeing. I've never had to ask for a raise - my efforts are appreciated and rewarded.

Supers are all on power trips and demoralize you on a daily basis.
 foreman aren't far behind the supers.    Zero work life balance.   Dont think about having a family or going to appointments you won't be able to see either.  



Don't bother they expect you to bleed Hazelwood red and if you don't you not worth being an employee. Supervisors are only in it for there bonuses and don't care about how many workers they go through to get it.

Dont bother if your not family or a brainwashed idiot.  You are a number that is disposable and it will wear you down to nothing.  There are better places to work that pay better and aren’t a revolving door for employees 

showed up everyday  worked 10 -13 hrs a day,i was left in -28 no power in room hr and half from nearest town,so i called for  ride home.,then screwed for e.i no help from company!
