The Hub

The Hub is attached to a dance studio as well as surrounded by office buildings, the morning rush is manageable for one person and one becomes aquatinted with many of the regular customers. The afternoon is a little busting and there is more to do but it is still highly manageable and the atmosphere and culture is very warm and comfortable. Much of the food and drink options cater to vegan/vegetarian lifestyles as well as having traditional options.

My Chefs here were phenomenal and deserve all possible credit.  I remain friends with some of them and consider them to be the young turks of the culinary industry.  They are understated and serious about their profession and expect a lot from you.  How ever you are given excellent opportunities to learn.  This job is my favourite job despite having earned substantially less than my next job.

If you're looking for a place where you can make a decent amount of money but still have free time for studies or family or whatever you may need this is an environment where they are understanding of those needs. The work place itself is laid back and a fun environment. Because you're on the MRU campus there was plenty of incredible events for the students such as bingo nights, live music and karaoke. I would highly recommend this establishment whether you're a student at MRU or not!

The work environment here is quite nice — clean, comfortable, and friendly. Everyone is supportive, and the team communicates well. Management is approachable and willing to listen to feedback. The overall atmosphere is positive and energetic, which makes it a great place to learn and grow. However, the work pace can be a bit fast at times, so you need to stay organized and manage your time well.

My typical day at the hub is a very busy place we have different 
kinds of settlement  services, youth services, senior services. I have learned to do any projects on time, handle clients in a friendly manner. I am work well with co-workers.The hard part was managing time. The enjoyable job was taking your time do any task or work.

Managers hire their friends for management positions, very little room for advancement unless you want to be their scape goat & take the blame for their wrong doings. 
Stratford kitchen is HUGE & is pretty dirty.  Closing shifts are the worst. 
Prep shift might be OK, but they have a HUGE turnover rate for the position. Be weary.

The hub has a great staff and is a good place to work for someone who enjoys the people they work with. The hub has a good costumer base and allows the people working there to get to know them and build relationships with many different groups of people

Learned how to handle food and beverages and handle various cash transactions. Very friendly and helpful co-workers. The job was very easy. I enoyed the people and the easy service

Great place with great people and everyone is nice and supportive to the community.  The work is stressful because of having to perform different duties irrelevant to each other.  Multitasking is a must.

It is a very fun place to work at. The atmosphere is very welcoming and accepting. I enjoyed volunteering there, highly recommend working and/or volunteering there.
