Motorsports was a great company to work at. I had no previous car sales experience but they gave me the chance since I had immense product knowledge on exotic vehicles. My managers were among the best in the business for what they do and they really taught me a lot in regards to not just salesmanship, but life in general; they were great role models. Work life balance was great, the atmosphere was enjoyable for the majority of the time and the compensation was more than fair. 

Management needed to be worked on. They tried to fix their system through trial and error but it didn't seem to be working all the time. There were too many chiefs and I think that was the issue but again, they had an immense amount of knowledge. 

Humberview Motorsports is the exotic division of Humberview Group. Humberview group treats you like a family member and never did it feel like a corporate operation; thats what makes Humberview Group stand out.

poor management ( I have asked over 15x to receive my forklift with the highest seniority in my position & a employee I trained got hired on for 2$/hr more then me and the company has since given him his Forklift License but refuse to give it too me ) later on found out that his dad works at another ford so they hired him on for more money that's what I like to call favoritism and they gave him his forklift. Been with ford for over 6 months and have not even been offered 1 raise or any further advancement to learn in my job field. 

Great culture with great people to work with employee wise.

This place is where I started the Truck trade.Shop foreman is very supportive. No company is perfect but I believe it also depends on the individual's perspective  and tbh personally it's a great environment where I learned alot through my colleagues and senior technicians. From online trainings up to cpr certification, appreciation days and summer boat cruises. It was sad to leave this company but I have to move forward and carry on. I wanna thank the people and culture of HG for this wonderful experience. Short-lived but still grateful for it brought me to where I am now. All the best to everyone! 😊🙏

• Manage a multi-line telephone system, directing customer calls to the appropriate divisions to ensure quality service.

•Distribute sales reports to management and sales staff to give the team the ability to track their success.

somewhat decent place to work. hourly wage is decent, but sometimes hard to make hours for the flat rate techs due to shop foreman stealing and/or management giving all the money-making jobs to the cheaper labour(lubers and apprentices). management lies a lot and makes up their own narrative about issues to protect themselves and never actually fix problems. service managers are a combination of incompetence mixed with extremely rude and aggressive, often belittling workers. nothing ever changes for the better. many technicians and apprentices have left without being replaced. excessive workload causes fatigue and burn out amongst employees.

Great company and great management. Enjoyed interacting with clients on a daily basis. My Co-workers were great. Very helpful and friendly environment. Learned a lot about how to deal with sub-prime clients, how to problem solve and closing/sales techniques. Learned about the service and sales side of the automotive industry. Got a good look at how it all works and how the interdepartmental strategies are obtained to maintain business increase. Enjoyed helping people with poor credit and good credit get the best finance deal they possibly can. Helping clients that cannot get approved anywhere else is a great feeling, especially when they are in dire need of a vehicle to get around.

Depending on the day, it could be either a very relaxed work environment, or a rather busy one.  I learned to work through the busy days independently, only requiring another person for help with things I wasn't previously experienced with.  Management was very understanding and flexible with what would work with both you and them.  The culture of the workplace was very comfortable, as we were all car guys doing what we love as a job.  Probably the hardest part of the job was the extreme pressure to get things done quickly when facing a large number of customers.  The most enjoyable part of the job was definitely my co-workers, along with being able to use the shop to work on your own vehicle at times.

I was a co-op student here and I must say it was a very good experience. the other co-workers were very kind to me and offered to help me whenever i nedded it. All staff were firendly and created such a laid back, safe, but still hard working work enviorment. the manager was really kind. He treated his employees, and me like his fellow co-workers and not just people who work for him. There was some heavy lifting but that wasnt bad. I loved my time here and will never forget the great experiences. I highly recomend this place. oh, and they also have an annuel spring barbeque

Was a service advisor for a local dealership in the group for about 4 years. First few years everything was great, management was great but then things went downhill after that.

No work/life balance was there, especially when we were short handed....asked for compensation because of the extra work load and was given a less of a bonus value and minor salary increase.

Was taught shady practices in order to get a good bonus, ie. ELR = effective labor rate, meaning paying a technician 1 hr of pay, charging the customer 1.5 hours of pay, the extra 0.5 goes to the house and my numbers...unfortunately i was forced to adapt to this to have a stable income and compensate the low salary pay.

There was never a place that I was more proud of working for then the Humberview Group. It was fulfilling and rewarding! The only reason I left was because after all the targets that I hit, the personal time I donated to their causes, all the evenings and weekends I invested. They lied about promotion within the company and then treated me like a number instead of a person. I am sad to this day that this did not work out for me. It is a good job, that is it, don't expect to be more than just a number.
