A wonderful growing company offering valuable services to photographers in the industry. Offers hybrid and work from home options. I learned a lot of valuable skills and information in the photography industry, as an entry level employee straight out of school. The workplace culture is very flexible and the management & CEO really care about their staff's concerns and well-being. The hardest part of the job was busy season but overall the job and workday are very fulfilling. 

Flexible hours meant you could start the morning on your terms. No one breathing down your neck as you worked, a lot of trust put in you to get the work done, while encouraging you to be efficient. The office is very relaxed, you navigate it however you feel comfortable. Expectations and goals as an employee felt vague, and lots of dips in amount of overall work would create anxiety in regards to job security. Many layoffs occurred and were handled unfavourable, creating an uneasy work environment going forward.

Image Salon used to be a great place to work at. But now it's just the image factory. Constant layoffs, no advantage, and extremely low pay, especially for Lightroom editors, which are basically paid minimum wage with the promise of a 'bonus' and yet this bonus is only attainable by Senior editors. 

They recently laid off most of their support staff including Quality Checker and Onboarders. The company isn't doing well, and unless you're a student who absolutely needs some experience, please avoir at all cost. 

The job is pretty relaxed but also fast paced due to having to send back images to clients. The pay also isn't worth it. Also its difficult dealing with certain clients due to them having conversations about how they want their pictures done with someone else prior to you getting it

Best company culture I’ve ever worked for. True diversity among staff. Had so much fun there! Yoga classes, fun happy hours, people were kind and polite. The salary was not competitive , in the average...

Avoid at all costs. They don't really know how to manage a company. They always keep forgetting what they said to you. silicon valley style company from outside but inside is like a middle eastern company.

The Image Salon is a productive and professional workplace. People are chilled and try their best to maintain a healthy working environment. 
You would learn a lot if you get in.

Actually a fun job because you get to see and edit different photos.
Basically what you do is the retouching style requested on Lightroom and Photoshop while communicating with customers as needed.

I had a great experience there, a very friendly and creative situation. You can learn new things every day and the work time is flexible, based on employee availability.
