I worked at LPC for a significant period and, unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as I had hoped. While there were some good aspects to the role, the overall company culture left much to be desired, particularly in regard to management's approach to leadership.

Upper management/ whole leadership team consistently demonstrated a lack of respect for employees' voices and opinions. In many cases, it felt as though decisions were made without any consideration of the input from staff who were directly impacted by those decisions. This lack of open communication and feedback contributed to a feeling of being undervalued and unheard.

Additionally, there was a noticeable gender bias in the workplace, which created a toxic and unwelcoming environment for many employees. This culture of sexism, whether overt or subtle, was deeply concerning and detracted from an otherwise collaborative environment.

The workload expectations were another challenge. Staff were regularly pushed to the limit, working long hours with little recognition or regard for work-life balance. The demands were often unreasonable, which led to high levels of stress and burnout among the team.

I truly believe that LPC has the potential to be a great place to work, but there are significant areas for improvement in leadership, employee respect, and work-life balance. I would encourage the company to take a hard look at how they treat their employees and make adjustments to create a more supportive, inclusive, and sustainable work environment

LPC is a lot of fun to work for in the warehouse if you can keep up with the demand. My coworkers and supervisors are extremely friendly.
I noticed if you want to train in another department, you need to pester your supervisor sometimes. The company tends to bring in temp workers when Production employees with experience can be overlooked.
The most annoying part of my position is the paperwork or the slow computers/systems not working some days but the monthly things like free pizza, quarterly celebrations, coffee & donut days, and so on make up for it. The HR team has boxes set up for anonymous comments or suggestions too.
I'm used to the sit-down forklifts but I learned how to use stand-up units. There are sign-up sheets for overtime as well and the system for paychecks, hours, and time-off requests is entirely online now.
Also employees can request a single paid day off every 4 months which I like.

The company promotes values like ‘Family,’ ‘Down to Earth,’ ‘Go Beyond,’ ‘Do What You Say,’ and ‘Elevate Others.’ In practice, these values are more often performative than lived. Leaders may attend modern leadership training (like Dare to Lead), but when real issues arise—especially around safety or culture—they revert to risk containment and process over people.

Monthly meetings with the CEO appear transparent, but few employees feel comfortable asking real questions, and leadership seems unwilling to interrogate the health of the culture when things go wrong. Raising genuine concerns about safety or psychological well-being can result in isolation or removal, rather than support.

If you’re considering joining, look beyond the branding and be cautious of the ‘family’ narrative. The environment is not as progressive or supportive as it appears, especially when challenges arise. 

• Direct departmental operations, including workforce, maintenance, production, and operations management;
• Operator Training Program, including formal qualifications guidelines, to quantify training goals and ensure professional competencies are achieved;
• Lead team program through the creation and coordination of efforts. Program has successfully increased shift productivity by 20%;
• Productions process development that increased productivity by 10 % and improved overall efficiency;
• Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, control testing and repair mechanical components of plant equipment and utility systems (welding, fabricating, and working with PLC’s );

If you want to grow in your career, and do not wish to work in a very toxic environment, then you must avoid LPC's IT department. The leadership position is filled with square pegs in round holes, no clear direction, and will treat all fresh and new ideas as a confrontation, thereby feeling threatened of your knowledge. 

The company as a whole is owned by very sweet personalities, and built on true family values... BUT!!! A cancer as been unknowingly planted in the IT department... RUN!!! 

my typical day at work would be putting on my cover coat, clocking in before work. Then id walk ino the triangle and start boxing and stacking boxes at the boxes.
Working there i have learned about the company and learned more about potatos all the different types. also was learning about machine oporator
The co-workers were all friendly workers. easy to work with.
i didnt find anything hard about this job, but i found pay day the most joyable part of the job.

From the management level to the ground floor, people are nice. There are people who will help you learn how to keep the pace in doing the packaging job. I also gained friends in the workplace. And everyone is tolerant and accepting of the diverse cultures from which the workers came from.

Little Potato is very good company, they always achieve the goals not only for the growth of the company but also as well to the workers.
They provided advance training for safety and Advance training computer trials for the workers.

You  need to watch your back. Maintenance team good, the asset team, not good at all. A couple of completely in experienced girls trying to be in the lead pert of the group. They are dramatic, back stabbers and will attempt to knock you down anytime you are garnering recognition. They want it all for themselves. Zero experience and high turnover due to these 2 girls specifically.

Worked here for many years. Loved my coworkers, they made going to work fun. Management is sorely lacking on all levels. They tout advancement and professional development but that only happens for certain people at certain levels in certain departments. They are very concerned with image and have lost track of their most important asset- their employees.
