 If adventuresome walk it from Stittsville.  The people working there are all decent folk.  I'll recommend stretching your back and hamstrings well before going, planting and weeding requires a lot of bending!  Great way to do well for Ottawa and to get outside and learn a bit :)

I loved volunteering at the Food Bank.I found Peter to be a very hard working individual.I ejoyed all the people I worked with.I am always willing to help when offered .I was also glad to see all the younger people coming in to help the less fortunite

The Food Bank has had a ton of turnover in the last couple of years due to very poor management. The hardest workers all eventually leave due to poor leadership. 

I was a volunteer at the Ottawa Food Bank, sorting and distributing food for Ottawa residents. I enjoyed this hands-on position. I met many new people. I enjoyed making a difference in the community.

I volunteered at the Ottawa food bank multiple times. My work consisted of staying outside stores to encourage customers to give donations. It was very challenging but it was a great experience.

At office you greet everyone Good Morning with a laugh & get the same reply in fresh mood. Then someone praises your perfume fragrance. Then you go on to have your favourite breakfast.

It was a nice charity thing. It wasnt really a job per say, i just have no experience. I learned even when giving things for free sometimes people have had a rough day and will be rude.

Each day, you are working with arguably the smartest and most passionate humans. The SLT has set up this organization for long term sustainability. Great Place.
