The Pines Long Term Care Home

I am proud to say that I have learned a lot while working at the Pines. My time there has taught me the value of being a part of a team, how to work more efficiently, and how to put forth a more effective time management strategy while working under pressure. I feel very fortunate to be working with such a great group of people, as they have always been there to help me when I have needed assistance, and ultimately contributed to my growth and strength within my specific job requirements. The hardest part of my job is getting everything done within a certain time frame; sometimes it can be a little over whelming but I can often get back on track by taking a step back and prioritizing my duties. The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing every step of the way that I am doing my small role in ensuring that the residents living at The Pines Long Term Care Home are feeling at home, comfortable, treated with respect, and are overall well taken care of.

Very difficult to review as I don't work here regularly.  I have worked for this facility for a long time in several different jobs and feel The Pines is managed very well.  They offer the best care to elderly residents in the district.

They have recently upgraded their communications and documentations with Point Click Care computerized system to meet all MOHLTC standards.  I love the ease of working through the documentation but feel due to working casually I have forgotten many key aspects of the program and feel I have to keep a guide handy at all times to refer to when I do work.

Place has a great facility and very good quality care standards. Would feel safe having my parents in here. Pay is ok but could be a bit higher. Management seems very fair and understanding towards staff members. 

Good place to work with great pension facility, residents and MGMT. Sadly day staff can be miserable at times and really tough to deal with as they have worked there a long time.

I enjoyed working at the Pines.  Staff are fun and friendly. Staff supported eachother.  I enjoyed the residences. They pay was good. They were able to work with your schedule as well as ensuring they had their needs covered.

Places near by close early . Staff was friendly lots of travel nurses and psw. Regular staff is pretty good. Knows what they are doing. Place is nice, have cute activities for residents 

Fun work environment. Co-workers are positive and good to work with. Management is new but are working hard during these challenging times of the pandemic. 

Nice to interact with residents. Easy work. Lots of walking. Rewarding. Flexible work schedule. Would have stayed if job was permanent. Friendly atmosphere.

Good overall experience. I had some great coworkers who were supportive and friendly. It was good to be apart of the community and help support the residents.

Great home to work at. Good work atmosphere. High quality workers. Home like environment where the residents come first. I would recommend working at The Pines.
