If you are looking for a good place to work, keep looking, this company is an absolute joke, at least at the Calgary warehouse, the management is simply incompetent, they only hire within the company, meaning people with zero leadership skill's remain in those positions, they are constantly struggling to have things under control, which comes back onto you the employee, they don't care about their employees, you are just a number which is to be exploited, each employee is treated differently arbitrarily, there are endless double standards, and that's why this place is a revolving door,  they have no interest in changing things for the better as long as they can sustain the current picture, with a culture of doing as little as possible so as to put it on others so you don't have to, if you like being rewarded with more work and have management looking for you to make mistakes on the security cameras this is the place for you.

Leads are terrible at their job and single you out for every little mistake, there is zero recognition for doing good work, managers say there will be a bonus at Christmas, but no, we got a pizza "party," its ridiculously hot and humid in summer, HR doesn't care about your problems, and the work is hopelessly monotonous. the only upsides are that the pay is decent considering the job itself is easy, and the early morning shifts free up most of your afternoon, also it is very easy to get a job here (Probably because most people leave within the first two months.) Would not recommend unless you're desperate for income, this is a last resort.

a good day at work is consist of preparing orders for costumers to meet they're requirements. It is very an easy job with good benefits and high pay for the position. They are very flexible on shifts and hours we work (ware house is open almost 24 hours). Management is freinds with every worker. The supervisors are very nice people and understand good practice. Every body wants to success for themsevles. There is no bad in this place. The culture is very easy; no timing and no micro-managment because everybody is easy. Overall this is a very good place to work.

They fire people asking for raises and give high ranking management positions to family members. 
Lots of new staff all the time. Management still needs work after running for 6 years. They got rid of bonuses. If you do get a raise, it’s about $0.10-$0.25 max for 1 year+ of service. As well, management tells us that there’s so many opportunities to expand in the workplace but then hire outside of the company or family members and give small amount raises with no set time frame. Coworkers are the most dramatic and back stabbers I’ve ever met.  When something goes wrong, they love to blame it on anyone but themselves.

Working at sliced was the worst 3 months I have ever wasted in my 30 years of employment. They have no regard for safety. They work you extra hard and extra fast only to send you home early. The management and Senior staff are downright unfriendly unhelpful and mean. I learned the jobs quickly and treated my co workers kindly, but was let go on day 88, just b4 quantifying for benefits. Make sure to get a safety glove. They didn't give me one for 6 weeks, right after I nearly cut my thumb off. There aren't enough words to describe how bad this company is. 

An exciting, innovative company with lots of happy employees willing to help out whenever needed.
The Saskatoon Office is a beautiful environment of glass offices, stainless steel, and concrete flooring with several breakout spaces and meeting rooms.
The work is exciting and challenging with a continuous flow of new opportunities.
The Star Group has been very understanding with my work/life balance and has accommodated family appointments and homeworking flexibility.

Excellent, supportive, progressive and friendly.

Busy, enriching and rewarding. I leave everyday with a sense of accomplishment!

They treat you decent and have a great team atmosphere!

The drive I live in Okanagan Falls is 25 minutes about the same as driving to Penticton.

I do a little Maintenance and look after my worker's

Amaya calgary office is a good branch with many IT talent.  The platform was designed carefully. 

There is team work spirit in this branch.  Staffs try to help each other to fix problem as fast step. 

It is easy to share idea, script etc. 

It is easy to get help from Amaya.  

DBA team administrate many data centres all over world. Task includes install system, set prod, test, staging.  Monitor all database server and databases.  developing code etc.
