The Staffing Connection

To anyone who considers applying to this company just get carpal tunnel now then start working because it’s the most repetitive work there is. Working there is like working at a prison work unit. It will turn you into a zombie just like the rest of the leeches that will suck the will to live straight out of you. The coworkers treat you like as if you were $h!* on a stick. Some will act as a manager because of the years they have worked there. They feel like they have a higher level of entitlement than the other workers that have started or have been working for a few months. It’s not surprising for them to feel that way but it’s how they degrade you and make you feel you’re just an insignificant little speck for every mistake you make. And the management is so unorganized it will scam you for your work and you won’t get fully paid. 
Reconsider applying please.

I am very grateful that work in the last 3 weeks that I've started is a place of a supportive environment, source of enjoyment even if I have no first hand experience of the work nature itself. I feel grateful for the job and its people for it is a therapy in and of itself.
It is a place of honing one's patience, perseverance, diligence, commitment and dedication. I feel inspired that a matter of even handling a machine takes a lot of patience but also diligence in making sure attention to detail is given. It is a "school" in and of itself as they continue to be a "training ground" not just for work life itself but also the practicality and reality of living a life filled with dedication and motivation. It will always be a place of thanksgiving even if I am only temporary there. As one of the nature also on the job with "sorting", it's a place with "sorts of love".

The work day at F&P was awesome.  I have nothing bad to say about that plant.
However, it would have been nice that Staffing Connection give up the heads up that if F & P doesn't hire you in 3 months you're out.  Witnessed Staffing Connection giving people an orientation through the plant almost on a daily basis.  
You're moved in and out like cattle.
It's a shame, I did really liked it there.  I used the shuttle to get there so working for Staffing Connection was my only transportation/option.  She said my numbers weren't up...the line I was on didn't do numbers and we were always ahead of the game. I worked well, got along with everyone and didn't complain about anything...there wasn't anything to complain about.

The biggest issue with the Staffing Connection is the management. The managers thrive on treating other people like they are worthless, and the extremely high turnover rate is proof of this - worked there for a few months and saw at least 7 internal people get hired and then quit within that time frame.
There is NO work-life balance, the office culture is terrible as it is very high stress. Most of the employees are expected to work for 10+ hours a day on salary wages, meaning they end up earning less than minimum wage.
Many people that get hired on with staffing connection don't get paid!!!
Stay away from this place!!!

Privately owned and dictated. Sick time must be requested off by calling the owner directly. The owner is not a nice person and works his staff to their very last breath. Expectations are that you will work 24/7 for low pay with no benefits, no time off, and no performance appraisals, no raises, no bonuses, nothing but bullying. I was one of a bunch of people who tried very hard to work there but the turnover is very high. If you are not in the owner's pocket as a pet, you will get nowhere. There is no upward mobility, no excuses are tolerated, and working every hour of every day is expected. Being rude and impatient with employees is standard practice. Good luck to anyone wanting to work there.

This company takes advantage of their employees, paying them a fraction of the other workers at your placements who are there directly.

The management will call last minute to ask you to work jobs starting less than an hour later, give you short jobs, inconsistently pay, not matching the hours.

It was probably the worst place I've ever worked, and I've worked for many temp agencies. They are the most unreliable and take their workers for granted, treating them as a commodity.

DO NOT EVER WORK HERE EVER! (Unless you are in the office/recruitment side, but the staff themselves would complain about owner / manager)

I have been working at The Staffing Connection full-time (Less than a year)

Have worked here less than a month so far - the job is challenging, no doubt. It can be frustrating at times as well, but personally, I've never heard of one that can't be. It is also very rewarding, and for me, the fact that I am encouraged to use my creativity is very refreshing.

Most importantly, they gave me an opportunity and an actual chance to show them what I can do. After all, a resume only tells part of story and they are willing to look beyond it.

I worked here for a summer doing factory work. The setup was, call every evening to see if you work the next day. Ok, fine. Then they took to calling me an hour before they needed my, even telling me to work at factories I'd never been to before. This, I understand, is not their fault, but is still something to expect if you work for them.
If you are desperate for work or looking for an "in" to a career in factory work, I'm sure they'd be perfect. If you are looking for a job with a schedule and reliable hours, they are decidedly not.
They are, however, friendly and generally pleasant, and I met lots of new people in my time in the factories.

They are chaotically unorganized and their communication is sub par at best. 
They treat their staff like actual garbage; if you dare to ask any questions or use your own brain they will penalize you for it. 
They do not properly train their employees before sending them out to the field and they don’t stipulate clear work hours for work assignments. 
I do not suggest working with the staffing connection. Try reaching out to these companies ie the factories they have in their roster, and apply yourself. Better pay and benefits that way.


All in all it wasn't a bad temp agency, there was room for advancement in which I was hired on contract post 90 days to the employer they had me working for. Also provides a shuttle service to employers in the surrounding area for those who do not have a personal vehicle. I never had an issue with them and my placement was actually one of the best jobs I had in terms of the camaraderie in the workplace, you're respected/greeted with open arms if you showed up and put an honest day's effort in/were not lazy. Definitely not a career path, but it's f/t work to hold you over until you find something more lucrative.
