The Story Cafe

The Story Cafe - Eatery & Bar is a casual fine dining restaurant from 9am (Morning brunch) to 11pm (Steak dinner) from latte art to housemade cocktails. 

This little place also got friendly staff and a fun environment even during services in a fast paced rush hours.  We all love working together as a team, front and back of house are helping each other to make the restaurant more successful. 

There are many good cooks to ensure food is awesome as always. Music nights bring up the vibe even more in the restaurant and owner is willing to pay back and provide free music lessons to the community.  Great and flexible management. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun place to work at !

In the restaurant, my typical day as a server involves coordinating with the management team, setting up for service, and attending to guests. I've learned the art of customer service, menu knowledge, and effective communication. The management team ensures smooth operations, fostering a collaborative work culture. The enjoyable part is creating memorable dining experiences, while the challenge lies in handling high-pressure situations and demanding customers. Overall, it's a dynamic environment that demands precision and hospitality.

I've been working at the Story Cafe for over 2 years now, I've learn A LOT of stuff , there is always new things on the menu so there is stuff to learn everyday, all staffs are very friendly and willing to teach you. Schedule is very flexible, it a busy place and I like it, times go fast while working, 

I've been really enjoying my time so far working at The Story Cafe . The food is very good, so it's easy to be proud serving it. There are alot of very interesting guests that come through, who are usually traveling and in a good mood.  The team is helpful and supportive, excited to continue working here. 

Very pleasant working environment. The manager and owner are very cooperative towards team members and customers. Immediate action on customer reviews is another important part that the owner take for customer satisfaction, which I like the most

The Story Cafe is a great place to work. It is an excellent place for new servers to learn and improve but also a good place for experienced servers since the menu is quite diverse!

Working at the story cafe helps me achieve my goals and gives me a sense of accomplishment. All the staff helps me and I learn more every time I work. The work hours may be long but I enjoy my shifts because of my colleagues. 

The daily routine is organized and structured. Management focuses on efficiency, and the culture is professional. I improved my problem-solving skills here. Repetitive tasks are the hardest part, but stable hours are the best part.
