Call center type of work. okay place to start at out of college.  Very high turnover rate. People do not stay here for long. They care a lot about numbers and very little about self care. The work is VERY repetitive and mundane. Managers do very little to make work exciting or meaningful. Managers do not have your back and will give you the boot if they do not like you. Will force you to work overtime or hand in resignation especially during the busier time frame. The Trafalgar side has black out dates from Jan-apr, meaning you cannot go on vacation or take multiple days off. Very little reward or gratification. being late is not tolerated at all doesn't matter if you stay late to make up for it. Have to stay late or come in early to do follow ups and emails. You have to ask for you breaks. No seniority benefit (i.e you can still get bad shift times and newbies get the better one, no raises).
overall i would NOT recommend this place. If you are looking for just a job maybe but  to anyone who has hopes for a promising future or being happy or fulfilled at work... this is not the place for you.

I worked there for 2 1/2 years before being laid off due to Covid-19. The company is a good place to work. I was a contact centre consultant before moving to a different department and the wage didn't add up to what you have to put up with from customers. Free lunches were provided on certain occasions, bbq were done in the summer and company outings were done as well which is awesome. Benefits were given out after passing your 6 months probation, yess there is a 6 month probation but the amount of things you need to learn it makes sense to why it's so long. 

I enjoy working at the travel corporation. The only downside is to it I would say, is the flexibility with regards to your hours. You will find that for the first few months in your position your hours will be late evenings up till 9 PM Eastern standard time however I do agree that they are flexible when it comes to family needing your support or you have to get off work for other personal business and they do try to accommodate you to the best of their ability with it without regards. The longer you spend the more you have to gain and it is an environment that reward you based on how much effort you put into your job as a team member, and as an individual

If you have plans that does not involve them or compromises the business needs. please find another place. They only want to fulfill their agenda and thats fair but they do not give everyone the benefit of the doubt even if you proved it. 

everyone is nice, everyone is cool. just do not fall out of line and their line is very straight

Very pro targetted but unfortunately, they're numbers oriented and not performance driven. Most companies give an hour for lunch, unfortunately, TTC believes 30 minutes is enough to get yourself a lunch eat it and be ok. However, it's not enough to warm your food in time.

it is a very big company, but not with much progress perspectives and the work is not well paid. the shift schedules are weird    -  sometimes you need do work from 4.30 am, working weekends and bank holidays. overtime is paid on the same rate

Working Toronto office Managers and colleague very helpful. Enjoyed working with them. Training is provided. Good workplace culture. Stress free environment. No deadlines or competition.
