The Water Tower Inn

I first joined the Water Tower Inn team at the request of a good friend. Every shift was different in little ways and I learned a LOT about different areas (pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, how to fix various things, etc...).
   My co-workers were, for the most part, amazing people and made work worth going to. Management used to be good with scheduling, but it got to the point no one could rely on their full time hours and they would need to check the schedule every shift for changes - that may have been fixed by now.
   There's a lack of communication all across the Water Tower, and a fair share of drama, but I found it to be one of those places where if you worked with the right people it made the job an alright place.
  The hardest part of the job was getting everything done that management wanted done - there's only so much time and they tend to stack more jobs on, despite objections. Also takes ages to get anything fixed by maintenance. The most enjoyable part was my co-workers; we worked hard but made sure to have fun while doing so.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Employee discounts at the restaurant.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of care from any management. Literally any of them. I went to help for harassment on several occasions and all that came of it was a meeting where my work bully said "im sorry you feel like that". 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Horrible. The culture is extremely toxic. I was close friends with one of the other girls on the team who had some bad work habits, and the rest of the team projected that onto me as well simply because I was her friend. This meant I was getting in trouble for things I wasn't even doing, because the team didnt like her or me by association.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. With the phone calls and I person interactions, it was always busy. But as long as I was busy, I enjoyed the physical job.

I learned how to work with customers and how to time mange different jobs. I love my coworkers we all help each other out and become like a family to one another, we always have each others back. I seat guest and inform them of the specials and let them know who will be serving them. I enjoy the most is being able to make friends and memories that will last a life time. The hardest part of the job is when we get upset customers and making sure things are good for them and helping out when needed.

people were awesome and the bosses more than willing to help out and work around scheduling.
The owners care about their employess, Managers are easy to talk too. Equal oppoturnity. Even thought the kithchen was serious business they would always allow you to have a laugh. Breaks were kept, soemtimes you'd have to work through one but you's always get to have it sooner or later.

They never own up to there promises. Feels like you are underpaid. Over work you like a dog once you show them how good of a job you do. Most people are lazy and don't care about the job and few people who did care.

Great place to work, everyone friendly and outgoing, A place where you can grow to learn I also like that there was free lunches and help clean kitchen every week on a daily basis

Work was hard. Not an easy job.washad  the public area worker. Lots of cleaning involved.worked very hard. Cleaned everywhere I needed to clean.the co-workers were good to work with.

The Water Tower Inn is a great place to work within housekeeping. I always went to work with a smile. The management was very accommodating to my schedule! Would recommend to anyone looking for this type of work.

I had a wonderful supervisor, but everything else was a lot of stress and too difficult for me to keep up. 
 The Owner of the Inn is extremely rude and hurtful.

I had a lot of great times 

I have worked here for over 5 years and it is an amazing place to work, especially if you're working in a learn-to-grow capacity.  The workplace culture is different here...it's a family, and everyone is treated as such.
