Where to even start? Management is so out of touch with what is happening in their stores. Terrible pay structure. The CEO sent out a Merry Christmas email to everybody in the company thanking us for our hard work over the busy holiday season.. That email was generated by AI. 

Pay is unreasonably low in this industry and from what I understand has not been increased at all since 2019, making this job essentially a minimum wage position. Yet they still expect the same results and motivation from their salespeople, when they could just go get literally any other job and make the same or more money with a better schedule.

They expect complete availability so they can abuse it and give you a completely different schedule every week. You’ll never know when you work and get your schedule 3-4 days before the end of the month in most cases. Good luck planning anything. 

Avoid this place at all costs. You are misled about pay and scheduling in the interview by the regional manager. None of the staff have been here more than 2 years and most new hires quit before their 2 month training is even done once they learn how the pay and scheduling actually work here.

The people that work here are great but the pay and commission is abysmal. You make almost nothing from commission, for example making 50k in sales for the company and bringing home about 350 dollars from commission. And the hourly pay is WAY behind other dealers. Management never does anything to improve morale of the people, which is horrible throughout the company. And they constantly deny any action to improve the pay or commission, or overall work experience. 

Was once a great place with a lot of long term staff that knew their stuff and took pride in their work. But through a few bad upper  management shakeups,  stagnant wages and awful commission structure  all morale was sapped from the staff and all the long term staff has left in favour of newbies that won’t complain. 

Staff knowledge is in the toilet along with morale and despite several minimum wage increases, management has refused to adjust employee salary to match so staff are making closer to minimum each time. Avoid this employer

Manipulative and egotistical are the first words that come to mind when I look back on my experience with this company. Staff are consistently berated and manipulated by regional and upper management and never given fair compensation for the work. Although they have a company policy manual in place to negate/deal with the many infractions and issues that occur on a daily basis; upper management shows abundant signs of favouritism to those that have worked for the company more than 5 years or have no morals. 

The company attracts some great employees and have made great friends in my time. However, morale is consistanly low across all staff. Overworked, underpaid has never rang more true. They wonder why people just don't seem to care. A lot of people have ran out of reasons. Any staff that have left the company have only talked about how much less stress they have while making the same, if not more, with much better hours and management.

The commission summary is a joke, you hit the goal and lose money, the best thing to do is max out and stop selling so you don’t lose money. The punish the people that are good at the job so they can keep the ones that aren’t. Nice workers but they will tell you the way to make more money is “sell more” which mean you have to triple your sales to notice a profit 

Pay is significantly below industry standards. Not competitive whatsoever. At nearly any other telecom company you could be making double what they pay here.

Commission structure is extremely predatory at 5% profit. Many other Sasktel dealers start at 20%. Try to get hired at any of their competitors first.

No real training, management is no help for anything because all they care about is getting a different position, zero compassion for employees when it comes to mental or physical health (explains high turnaround) and no support for new employees. 

No opportunity for advancement unless you know someone.

Heiarchy is completely set in stone. No raises.  

Training is severely lacking in most aspects, including being told multiple ways to do something.








The Wireless Age is an amazing company to be employed with. They care about you and the customer and really value your input and opinions.The company is flexible with hours and are willing to work around your schedule.
