What is the best part of working at the company?
The people I work with are top notch. We focus on collaboration  and helping one another do the job that needs to be done. 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
A lot is out on our plates and expected of us. Sometime the asks don’t fit with the timelines give, which sometimes are out of out control. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment in my area is good and in like with our values. As we have an office Ana plant, I can’t speak into the other area. On a whole the culture is good but can be improved 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As I assist with many departments my day is never typical. It’s always a challenging reward.

Good place at first but goes down hill fast no support for employees non stop gossip from HR managers don't do anything to stop problems on floor or are just lazy and don't do anything other than talk to eachother about personal lives, 0 room for advancement. Hard work is not recognized nor is it rewarded when it is. No temperature control in the summer so you will sweat considering they test heaters. On concrete all day with little to no means of getting off it. Will keep you in as a temp as long as possible so not to give benifits or overtime. Overall it's a good place for someone right out of school for some quick money but you do more work than what you're paid for.

There's a disconnect between wage and expectation. This, alongside office politics has resulted in a high turnover rate, but has seen improvement. 

The people on the floor make up for what is lacking. The overall sense of comraderie is a unique dynamic, not often seen in many work environments.

Communication and accountability in upper management leaves a lot to be desired and a lack of room for opportunity and growth within the company.

To their credit, safety is of the utmost importance and taken very seriously. Thermon takes great measures to ensure the well-being of their employees.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management - went away from PMI to a sales order approach as they call it . 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Micro management , everything goes up the ladder for approval…not much room for growth

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The actual building is terribly outdated, kind of like a dungeon

Leadership makes a lot of assumptions about what will work/what will make the company successful, and don't listen to any input from the people actually doing the work day to day. Many bad decisions get made that make everyone's jobs needlessly difficult. On top of that, the pay & benefits are not good and the company views its employees as a cost to be minimized, not an asset to invest in.

Good company to work with, hand on they teacher you alot

No stress,  no rush , you working in a timely manner,  but always  rechecked your work

Friendly on kind team, good working environment

Busy with different work flows

Thermon was a great place to learn.  This being my second time working for Thermon, I felt I learned much more than my first time as I was given responsibilities far beyond the scope of the tasks I performed the first time I worked at Thermon.

If you like micromanagement, this is the place to work.  Management is very clique with some staff and hard on others.  It is VERY high pressure.  There is no communication, smiles, laughter between coworkers.

Great place to work. Workload if large and major requirement is accuracy. Need to understand delivery and invoicing as per SOX Compliances. Environment is difficult for a new person coming in as everyone seems very tight already. Big demands on accuracy placed on you from the beginning.

I worked at the Orillia facility for just over 5 years and was belittled by management daily! Job threatened over small things! intimidation attempts by management daily! Would be told I was dumb for not understanding something I was being trained on!
