During my placement I got a chance to work this wonderful organization which is so diverse. My supervisor and the people with whom I have worked with were wonderful as well as very helpful. They gave me the chance to run programs such helping out clients with their filling up the forms as well as facilitating activities for high school students.

i did volunteer work with different TNO employees. they all were very cooperative. a great management was there to handle all the volunteers and to instruct them. a very good companionship with people of many other countries by exchanging information on culture, rituals and food etc

Thorncliffe Neighborhood office was a place where kids can come in, meet other kids, play sports or games, make arts and crafts all summer long. There was a fun staff and we were responsible and genuinely cared for the safety of the youth we were in charge of.

My experience at TNO was great. You get to learn a lot from your supervisor and the group you are working with. TNO helps you get ready for your first ever job. For example helping you with your resume and all the rights and wrongs about how a work environment is like.

Good place to work, i am lucky to got the opportunity to work with well Canadian experienced people. friendly and professional atmosphere with healthy competition

In TNO there are many different programs all involved with the neighbourhood. while working there i started a program with another gentleman to teach students the guitar and for the most part that was what happened

Have to be nice and caring, also kind to others. Need to communicate with others in a good way no bad attitudes needed, just need to be spoken good. Also be nice to customers as well.

Great place to bring community together. The duration for the internship program was 3 months. I have developed strong interpersonal skills and be able to absorb new information rapidly and implementing.

There were no supervision. The job goals were not professional. Management was a bully. They seemed to have a budget, and all they do is plan how to spend this budget. They don't care about youth mental health.
