This is a very busy company that blends old school management practices with progressive new ideas. Changes are implemented quickly and respectfully, and with minimal growing pains. Highly skilled staff work well together in a stable environment. Great workplace for journeymen and higher skilled trades and apprentices.

Workflow is improving as time goes by, with the greatest challenges being planning, purchasing, materials management and delivery, and task doubling.

Great management team and great work/life balance.

Get paid on time.  Work 8 hours a day.  You work Monday to Friday

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful thing about this job is you are basically second guessing if you are doing your job right because no one is giving any feed back.  You'll find out how you're doing when your co-workers tells you because they talk behind your back.

Toxic and not very professional

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Wondering when they will get rid of me.

Management is clueless most of the time and they have little to no experience in anything they are doing.Pretty sad for a start up company who hires experience people but gets rid of them if they don't want to follow there ideas of being dishonest and cheating people. I would never rent anything from these dirty and unsafe apartments. Check out the rental company they have its all a scam.

Very gossipy place to work and management is nice to your face but talks negative to other staff behind your back.

If you currently work here or looking to DON'T. They probably wont be in business much longer.

Typical day started with reviewing and planning out weekly goals for the specific trades that were working at the site, i.e. carpenters, electricians, laborers.  However it was it was extremely difficult to plan ahead with no plan in place or plans that changed continuously.  Fail to plan, plan to fail!. No blueprints no drawings, and extremely poorly managed. Vice President and project manager seemed to be clueless and flying from the seat of their pants. 
However co-workers were great and somehow they managed to get through a day.

Great team environment! Management is transparent and will ask your opinions/feedback. Management trusts their employees to do their job without micro-managing which creates an atmosphere of trust and respect. It is busy and challenging which makes the work day fulfilling and fast. 

To be a part of a growing company feels like being a part of building something! 

Friendly staff and the company seems to always be improving.

The only good was Working hours. Nice schedule 8am - 4pm. No weekend hours

Very sick environment. Micromanagement. Managers don’t trust and don’t respect employees

Toxic environment in general. No proper instructions. No respect for others

 Co workers are very friendly and respectful. It is such an amazing feeling to go to work everyday and actually have people listen to you and your ideas, treating you like a true team member.

I love working here, there is nothing more satisfying than going home each day knowing that your helping people have safe, affordable housing. It is very rewarding! There is a wonderful work culture and the people are great! Definitely the best job I have ever had.

I enjoyed working for Thorwin Real Estate because of the fellow employees who were great except a couple of people. One supervisor who I did considerable work for, was fond of my attention to detail, and work habits.

Great place to work! Friendly co-workers and management is very supportive of its staff. Learning and advancement is encouraged by management, you succeed, we succeed!
