The concept of a work-life balance is almost non-existent in this environment. The demands placed upon employees often result in working conditions that verge on the precipice of exhaustion, leaving little room for personal well-being or life outside of work. The issue of job security is equally disconcerting. Termination of employment for seemingly trivial reasons is disheartening, and the severance packages offered often align with the bare minimum required by legal standards.  Benefits provided by the company have been subpar.
The clients interaction within this organization has been challenging, to say the least. Support and guidance from the company's leadership team have been disappointingly absent. A high turnover rate underscores the absence of effective talent retention strategies and a lack of proactive engagement with employees.

This is a high-pressure work environment with minimal work-life balance, and notable stress levels. Micromanagement is prevalent, and there is a substantial turnover rate with limited job security. Additionally, there’s an ongoing struggle of egos among technical managers, and senior employees often bear the brunt of blame for managerial errors. However, the salary remains competitive for those who can endure these conditions.

The company has high employee turnover and frequent layoffs, leading to an unstable and insecure environment. The constant changes hurt team morale and productivity, making it tough to work on long-term projects and negatively affecting the workplace atmosphere.

The three words that come to mind when I think of my time at Thrillworks: kind, respectful, and professional. That encapsulates the work environment itself and the treatment I received.

Every day there’s something new and interesting to tackle. The work never gets boring and the few times it’s been challenging beyond my capabilities, I felt comfortable asking for help and receiving it.

The people I work with here at Thrillworks are all very motivating and supportive. On the days when I come in and just don’t feel like I have anything to give, they always help me find some and give my all.

The workplace environment over at Thrillworks was highly professional the entire time I was working there.

I felt proud to work there as a Project Manager and leaving was not an easy decision.


Not a great place if you are looking to build your career. Management can seem like an echo chamber of bad/useless ideas. Coworkers are incredibly kind and pleasant to be with.

To the point: just a good company to work for.

There’s a lot of companies out there masquerading as professional places of business.

But Thrillworks is the real deal. Just solid all the way through.


I’ve been working as a Software Developer for Thrillworks for the past year and a half and I have to say that so far it’s been a great and financially rewarding experience for me.
