I have been a committed employee at Tiger Tool for nearly two decades, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. I began in an entry-level sales position, and over time, I have progressed within the company due to the various opportunities for growth and development that have been provided.

One of the key factors contributing to my success at Tiger Tool is the support and encouragement I receive from ownership. They have consistently provided me with the chance to learn new things, ensuring that I am continuously growing both personally and professionally.

Working at Tiger Tool has given me a strong sense of belonging, as the company culture is one that fosters teamwork and camaraderie among employees. This environment has played a significant role in my long-term commitment to the organization.

I appreciate that the company invests in the tools, training, and equipment necessary for employees to excel in their roles. This commitment to providing us with the resources we need not only improves our overall job performance, but also demonstrates the company's dedication to its workforce.

While no company is perfect, I have found that ownership is receptive to feedback and willing to make improvements when necessary. This open-minded attitude makes me confident in the company's ability to adapt and grow as needed.

Tiger Tool offers competitive pay, and the recent addition of RRSPs to our benefits package is just another example of how the company values its employees.

Free lunch, and nothing more.

Cons:
Scheduling is poorly conducted by those who know nothing about machining.
Tons of micro managing.
Zero trust in employees, you are on camera 24/7 and every tool needed is locked up.
Company morale is terrible.
Programs are hit and miss.
Drawings are awful.
Engineering and management hold zero accountability.
Mindless button pusher low skill environment.
Zero reward for problem solving and creativity. (you'll actually be punished for it)
HR dept. Heavily favored towards owners / management 
No employee loyalty with very high turnover rate.
Low regard for safety 
Lots of politics and favoritism 
Poor maintenance.
Repeat mistakes in many work processes.
Lack of opportunity to grow and move forward.
And the list goes on.

With its many and great goals, Tiger is an amazing and dynamic place to call work. But, its the hard working, creative and talented people within who are the blood of the organization that truly make it worth getting up in the morning.   

I am very proud of where I work and I think that anyone looking to start or further their career at Tiger Tool will be too.

I was there for almost two years and learned a lot.  The machines are very cool and fascinating, and I believe I did a lot of good in establishing the groundwork for meaningful information regarding production costing for the decision makers.  The work was varied enough that there was no fear of being "pigeon-holed" into specific repetitive tasks - in fact, much of it was challenging and rewarding and provided for personal growth in a lot of areas.

Executive management did provide a couple of small acknowledgements of efforts that went above and beyond, but otherwise the tone from the top was silent leading to no sense of belonging or of any culture at all.

I worked here for a short period of time. They don't seem to be a company ready to grow into the company they want to be. Very successful indeed but the basics for new hires onboarding is not there. They only want you to feel a part of the team if you already know exactly what they want when they want it. Questionable business practices such as cameras everywhere and allowing anybody to not wear PPE on shop floors. A lot of the projects of the company is handling involves the remodel of the owners home. I would not recommend working here.

- Great tooling and machinery, always up to date on tooling and never an issue to purchase tooling
- Very little advancement if you are a production machinist
- Rotation schedule is does not apply to everyone - favoritism 
- Free lunches are great
- Clean environment and shop
- Every step is watched on cameras
- No pension plan
- Great challenge for those who get a chance to program and set up machines

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not care about employee safety or health. The equipment was poorly maintained, safety protocols were either ignored or non-existent, and management only seemed to care about meeting deadlines—not the well-being of the people doing the work. Concerns were often dismissed or brushed off, creating a toxic and dangerous work environment. If you value your safety and sanity, look elsewhere.

The shop is clean, and tooling is good. Machines are quality but a little older.  Some have been crash, repeatedly. Guys on the floor are good to work with but Management is a bit off. Cameras everywhere, no direct deposit, no RRSP, and an unorthodox benefit package. Two tiered between their favorites and everyone else. Very repetitive work. Zero advancement opportunities.

Any forward planning was kept secret until the last moment, or left to your psychic abilities.
Mechanical Engineer something of a micro-manager.

Co-workers amiable, helpful.  Safety was a bit of a suggestion and selective.

Square footage maxed out, machines squashed together.

Great team environment where everyone gets along and works well together.

Employees are encouraged to help identify process improvements and contribute to the overall success of their department and the company as a whole.
