Interview process was relaxed, basic questions that are always asked during an interview. However I was interviewed by two people. One would ask questions about the job and my past experience in a lumber yard I worked for 9 years. The other interviewer was more worried about what I did in my many years serving in the military and nothing really about the job I was being interviewed for.
Everything was going well in my opinion until all the tasks that myself and my coworker once shared became all my tasks. The lack of communication became more and more as time went on and I would keep getting more responsibility put on my plate with no compensation. I now had four bosses and felt like everything was one sided and I had no say. This really made it feel like I didn't belong. No body would talk to me and keep my updated on anything. I did my best to be a team player and help improve the place and I did what I could. For a young company as they are I really hope they figure it out and start to work as a team. The potential is there, they just need to be open to new ideas from all levels of the ladder. Best of luck!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The guys are great to work with. The company is great to work for, if you work good they really take care of their guys. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You gotta be physically capable of lifting heavy stuff, good work out.

Awesome, they really care about their employees. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hard work and good laughs, it's pretty pleasant for the most part.

I liked my actual job and was decently paid but over the years managers left or were replaced and everything went sour. People going on stress leave. The misogyny was barely hidden. Before long, every department was headed by a male. 
The last 2 years before I was gone we received no raises despite exemplary reviews, was told the "going rate" was lower than what we were making.

Meeting new people and assisting co workers

Misleading the expectations of myself and my duties

Stressful and very tense environment

Cleaning and dusting shelf and stocking shelves

Had a great interview got hired on the spot but then was told any experience I had was in the field did not matter and they will treat you like your stupid. They will entertain people making up that you are trash talking and corner you in the office and not care what your side of the story is until you get so upset you end up just quitting. Horrible place to work yard side anyways 

I worked in the lumber yard and learned all about building supplies.
He was hard work and kept me strong for my Mixed Martial Arts training. I was able to interact with many contractors in town and it was an good introduction into the home supplies and construction field.

Very Bad leadership and Micro managment. Too many politics and stressful. Toxic Environment. Everybody miserable. Not a good place to work. Misogynist and whiner in charge. Most enjoyable part of the job was the customers. Worst was whiney and ultra sensitive management.

I really enjoyed my time at Timber Mart,the staf and management ther were very easy to get along with,and very enjoyable,tghis was a fast paced environment so time went by well.I worked as a yard attendent/forklift operator/delivery driver,so i was very busy.they provided a good wage and benefits.

At Timber Mart, I was resposible for helping customers, on my own and as a team. I had to load trucks with my peers. I would have to help load the forklifts and deliveries and I woulf help unload the transport trucks that pulled in with products.

Good people to work for. They will have your back if you have their’s. good hard work that keeps you in shape and out of the gym. Fun atmosphere, but still expected to get your work done. All in all a good place to work and good people to work for.
