I loved the girls at my location. We always had a fun time every shift !! Upper management can be rough and somewhat quite manipulative at times. 
You do have to work quite a lot of hours with very rarely 2 days off in a row with a low pay. 
There was no major perks or benefits at all unfortunately for full timers. Pay was also inconsistent as some people were paid differently even with the same role! That part was very unfair. 
I ended up leaving because I found a less stressful job with the same pay and didn’t want to deal with the headaches from HO. 
 

Been working here for over 2 years now and I must say the work environment is phenomenal. I love going to work everyday and the management is great. Myself and the other staff members joke around which makes work fun but we also get our duties done. Working at Tootsies has really improved my confidence and has helped me grow. The company itself is great and takes care of you. I don't look at Tootsies as just any other shoe store/employer... it's a job I love being apart of, it's like a family.

We have to beg them to replace simple yet necessary items, and when they do its usually used or older than I am. Throw everything onto their workers, genuinely don't see you as a person. However, people in store are amazing to work with. Its too bad this company takes advantage of great people and workers. No raise as a key holder and sometimes cant even get payed for the extra thirty minutes bc there is a budget of wages for everyone. 

Tootsies Family Shoe Market assures that not ony the cutomers are happy, but also the employees. Even after working at Tootsies for over a year, I still continue to learn more selling techniques in order to satisfy our customers. The company as a whole has showed me many beneficial skills that have helped me at school or at other jobs. Overall, I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the daily expectations given to me as a sales associate.

I loved my girls while being there. I was “promoted” to assistant manager with no pay raise doing just as much as Manager. When the manager left the location i had to step in as management and still no pay raise. The overall manager of the stores doesnt pay you how you should. If you write a complaint to the company about anyone, your position gets threatened and you won’t be able to advance in the company. 

I loved my time at Tootsies. Manager was very understanding of not a bit quirky (in a good way) and co-operative team members. I learned a lot of patience as the clientele was a bit more senior, and needed a lot of personal assistance when choosing appropriate footwear. I also learned a lot about merchandising as the store layout was up to staff to arrange according to season, flyer, etc.

It was a nice workplace and very easy going. Manager understanding of other personal commitments and creates a fair schedule. Easy to learn how to use the systems and run the store. However, they only pay minimum wage even if you take on more responsibility. 

It was a very fun place to work. The good thing about working there was you would get regular customers that would come in asking for you which is nice.  My coworkers were easy to get along with occasionally we would get together outside of work.

I had the privilege to work at the opening of the new Stratford store. I loved every minute  great work environment. The area manager is alot of fun and really gets involved with the store. Store manager  willing to help you learn and grow with the company.
