I come in and do my job daily with no pressure from management. I am constantly learning with help from all colleagues. Management is great and easy to work with. Everyone gets along for the most part and you always feel respected and wanted. Hardest part of the job is my own physical limitations. In a nutshell, I enjoy my job as a whole and I am very satisfied working here.

I would advise caution with this company. There seems to be very little room for growth, and management can be discouraging.

If you’re okay with being yelled at after a 12-hour shift, this job might be for you. Support at work is minimal—at one point, I was working alone, which I believe violated basic safety rules.

During my time there, roughly 50% of employees at my location were let go. The company cannot afford experienced mechanics, so proper training is lacking. Mistakes can lead to termination.

For a multi million company and shipping container business, is not coming a lot across.
No digital work orders or time clock, everything is paper written and analog.
Benefits starts right away, that's one of the only good things, you will ending up walking about 20km a day, you can bend over backwards for Top Lift, they don't care very anti-social behavior, thankfully scream and yell at you after you worked 12,5 hr night shift, about employees Top Lift can not care less.

-Recent changes determined increasing day to day activities were to be controlled and dictated from Toronto. These changes proved very difficult. 
-Local (Surrey, B.C.) management created a wonderful place to work and excel. With an exception or two, all employees wanted to be part of the team, and therefore, created a positive environment. 
- Local management would receive a 5/5 star rating, while Ontario management would receive a 1/5, hence, an average of 3/5.

I have been working here for almost 2 years and  have always felt very respected and trusted by my manager and other employees. Top Lift has always encouraged their employees to expand their knowledge and cross-train other colleagues in the office to give you the ability to grow. I enjoy coming into the office every day and being apart of this amazing company!

Busy days - go by fast
Learned every corner of the business and still absorbing knowledge.
Best part of the job is repairing non functioning equipment for customers.  Customers are always grateful for hard work and dedication.



Not a good place to work, the operation manager should not work with employees. Very unprofessional and rude with the employees. If you looking for work this is not the place to be. Trust me you will regret it if you work at Top Liff.

You have to be a male to succeed in this company. Very disorganized and unprofessional. They are only money driven and don’t care if your sick or have children that need to stay home to look after. They don’t look after their employees. 

The working hours lack flexibility. The colleagues and management are great, but there is limited room for growth.I’m generally happy every day and can get support from those around me。

Management was not the easiest to get along with, but they guys were good. Don’t work overtime unless you plan on working 12-14 hrs 6 or 7 days a week. Benefits were alright pay was pretty good but pension was a joke.
