• Days are good @ Topco. Beginning of the month is usually very busy.
• I learned lot about how to deal with customers, how to handle difficult customer. I also learn lot about how to work safe. Topco has a good safe work policy in place.
• Management is good; easy to talk to.
• I have very supportive co-workers
• Hardest part of the job is to meet the deadlines. I am responsible for all the financial statements so always have to keep in mind that management need financial statements on time.
• I enjoy my work. Doing journal entries, analysing financial statements, reconcile balance sheet.
• Most enjoyable part of the job is having fun with all my co-workers.
Occasional departmental lunch which includes accounting manager.
Co-workers birthday celebration, baby shower, awards. Occasional BBQ lunch arranged by sales managers
I even enjoy the every day coffee breaks with my co-workers.
I loved all my years with Topco.

Loved working there, very production orientated with strong safety culture. The thing I loved was the great min-fri schedule and the family like leadership. Benefits were a strong asset with RRSP matching; I bought my first home working there because of that program. Highly recommend working with this company! Not a environment for slackers but you can go great distance with a good attitude and work ethic. 

Let's just say I basically got promoted right away because I didn't stand around doing nothing. Then after getting harassed by the employees and talking to management and them not being able to do anything I quit for the safety of myself. Management had one decent manager and the "owner" was a selfish man baby. The work load is fine, but its not rocket science. Actually this job made me feel so terrible I actually tried to commit suicide. Lol not even a joke

Competent people should be put in leadership positions. Work tasks should be assigned fairly and made rotational. Worker's concerns should be addressed

Inexperienced management with little employee loyalty or employee recognition for a job well done. Overall negative office culture with archaic methods and very little room for changes for effeciency, micro-managed with very little communication.

I started my oil patch career with Topco. I would say this would be the best for young up and comers that want to get into the field. It helped me along the way of my oil patch career so far and I often use Topco as an example of work procedures and practices in everyday operation in my career to date.

The data entry I learnt for their software was interesting for and  me easy to follow . 

I learnt about the different parts that make certain oilfield tools , procedure on how the tools work .

learned alot of new skills, management is fairly easy going. hardest thing is manual material handling the rest is a breeze. benefits are really good. salary/pay could be way better for the quality and amount of work you put in

Work environment pretty much fine i guess politics is normal in every industry, good thing about is you're always home every night, I like the over time hours, learn a lot specially in non destructive testing.

You are treated as a number and will be replaced as soon as the boss doesn't like something you do. Don't recommend working there as management doesn't care.
