What is the best part of working at the company?
Timings might differ, but everyone works on their own tasks but willing to help each other. staff is diverse and supportive.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As such there is none, sometimes their are less requirement of staff. Or sometimes very fast paced and long hours but manageable.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone is friendly and supportive. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
depends upon the function, it can be hectic or chill.

You sit at a desk for 9 to 10 hours every day sorting papers. Watching paint dry would have been more entertaining. My lunch break was  30 mins. It feels like when you're at school all the day in the summer and you've forgotten how nice the weather was outside and when you finally get outside it makes u not want to go back there.

The Toronto Congress Centre is a great place to work because I get to learn lots of different things and see lots of different things and people also


Working here was great. I learned how to work in a fast paced environment by creating tables and assisting in moving products in places so it can sell. The manager and co workers all helped me and showed me everything that had to be done.

I was called into the boardroom and told I was being let go by 2 senior members of the team.  They did not know why, and therefore could not tell me why.  They had been told to do this by the CEO of the company.  (He has since passed away).

Working there, management does not have a defined leader. No sense of organization. There can be a long walk to staff washrooms. There was no proper staff locker room

Good place to work. Was placed here by agency. Unlike other serving jobs at typical sit down restaurants, there are no tip payouts here (obviously, as it is a banquet hall not restaurant). However the hourly wage will probably make up for it.

the environment is propertied have to be aware of objects on display but the working experience overall is good and the workers there are helpful and very social

Its a fast pace environment where you will be serving individuals and making sure everyone is happy with the selection of food they have. Constantly asking if how the person is.
