Toronto Rehab Institute

TRI is a great place to learn fundamental nursing and patient care. Shifts are available in 12HR and 8HR offerings. There are Day, Evening, and Night shifts available as an 8HR nurse. The 12HR shifts in particular, since they are fairly new, are not the expected 4 on, 5 off or American system 3 shifts per week. This makes a 12hr full time line very difficult when considering work/life balance.

Toronto Rehab was an excellent working environment that allowed me to work to the best of my ability. I was given the opportunity to learn a variety of things I wanted to learn. My coworkers and managers were always available to help and the working environment was excellent.

Being a student nurse at this institute allowed me to see how nurses work together not only with other nurse, but with other health care providers too. The environment allowed me to feel welcomed.

I worked overnight, It is very set back. I've met lots of great people during my shift to keep me busy.
Everyone I worked with is very supportive and understanding, they look out for each other.

I guess rates speak louder than any reviews. However, I had great colleagues very thoughtful. Will surely miss working alongside them. Wishing them all luck and success.

The environment is safe and the staff is great. Teamwork with respect and care is inspired in this place. I would suggest this place for researcher who would start their carrer

Great place to learn as a student and new graduate. Friendly team, collaborative working culture, fast-paced and lots to learn. I felt well-supported throughout my experience. 

The management is good, Learn lots of new technologies, people are friendly and helpful, the patients are hard to manage as all rehabilitation patients 

Learned a lot while I was there. I was able to know how they work as a team. I have met a lot of people, observed different styles of caring with the same goal in mind

Lynhurst specializes in Spinal cord rehab. Workload can be heavy but generally a good place to learn. Great teamwork from staff. Lots of overtime work available.
