This is a great place to work and work/life balance is at the top of the list!  Management and staff work hard during core business hours with no expectation of giving more.  If you like to be busy and work hard with no expectation of having to work overtime/weekends, this company is the bomb!  Again - it's a place for people who work hard and like to be busy but when the workday ends, your time is yours! Great Management, great atmosphere, great people.

very friendly and smart and intelligent staff and management

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
respond to emails and order, then make calls and repeat all day long. Great vibe for a salesperson mindset

Beginning of the week is extremely busy and dies down as the end of the week nears; learned more about how to deal with unsatisfied customers, my co workers were absolutely amazing and very helpful; the hardest part of my job was the expectation of doing an 8 hour job in only 6 hours; the most enjoyable part of the job was to be able to make customers happy

I was there for 3 years in the import department and found the work to be very rewarding. The typical day is busy but everyone helps out where needed. Most employees have been there for many years and were very knowledgable about their job and processes and shared this information with me to allow me to do my work.

I started off as an order picker which wasn't a bad job. The money was 9/hour, minimum at that time. After a few months I got "promoted" to shipping manager, and the work was super intense. I had to do some pretty awful physical labour, and when my first cheque after the promotion came I realized I was doing 3x more work with 10x more responsibility for the same wage.

I loved working for Torre & Tagus.
Most of the staff as been there for 10 years plus.
They have very little turnover

Loved the management, coworkers and product line.
I was there for over 7 years and miss it.
You are treated with respect and they have great work life balance.

I worked in the sales department and it was the perfect match between sales and being creative. I was able to have input in the up coming collections by listening to what my buyers where looking for. Nice size company small enough have direct input in change and large enough to have growth. 
I was sad to leave but had to relocate for family obligations 

I started as an entry level ISR and within 3 months was given more accounts to manage based on how I was performing. I was told there was opportunity to travel to tradeshows but this did not happen during covid so it was primarily phone sales. 

Everything is directed through making the most money.
The company does not offer any benefits, not even the basic ones. It gives the misconception of a structured company.

The positive reviews on here were only manufactured to increase this company's negative image.  Zero company culture and management is difficult and disrespectful.
