Overall, my experience was not good.  If you disagree with the on-site management, you will be either bullied until you leave or they will make up lies in order to fire you.  Either way, they only want people they can manipulate into doing what they want even though the patients are the ones that suffer.  Patient care is not their priority.  Head Office management doesn't care enough to speak with the staff about the working environment and doesn't even have the decency to respond to concerns from physicians who emailed to let Head Office know what is really going on.  They listen only to the lies of the on site management.  It is very sad because they have, and will continue to lose good people because their focus is not the patients or the staff, it is money and this is not a good priority for a health care facility.

in a typical day i would serve food to the residents clean tables wash dishes put dishes away clean and mop the floor. i learned how to deal with a different type of customers every day. the management was great she lets do what was best for business and gave the worker the possibilities to learn from our mistakes, my co-workers were great the always showed up on time always ready to work and every worked as a team to make sure things were going smooth. the hardest part of the job would be when someone didn't show up for work and we had to worker fast which wasn't all the bad but sometimes there was to many customers to deal with but we always go the job done and did it very well leaving the residents happy. meeting new people every day we see new families and learned new ways of getting things done.

Residents were so amazing, a pleasure to get to meet and know, however management was so disorganized and chaotic. A lot of times acting as unprofessional as yelling in the workplace and storming out during a shift. Such cases also affected new managers/ supervisors, who would then promptly resign. With the ever changing managers, supervisors, and servers, the ones remaining would have to continue the shift EXTREMELY short staffed. To the point that the residents themselves had to lower their expectations and standards for any and all dining room experiences. The pressure and the work load was immense for a casual minimum wage job.

- THE MANAGEMENT ALWAYS COORDINATE WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES.
- WE DEVELOPED A FAMILY-LIKE RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO-WORKERS.
- THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB IS WHEN WE ARE REALLY SHORT OF STAFFS.
-THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE JOB IS TO RENDER SERVICE TO THE RESIDENTS, RESIDENT'S FAMILY, AND THE GOOD RELATIONSHIPS WITH STAFFS.

Working here at Touchmark is a true joy nearly every day. I work closely with residents and assist them with their dining experiences. 
I am team leader with many fantastic team members to guide. I enjoy engaging with the community and I cherish all the relationships I have made here.
The workplace culture has progressed and I am proud to be a part of that change.
Hardest part of the job is losing a resident. 
Best part of the job is being of service. I want to help. I am an ally. I am a giver and I am a friend.

Able to practice my patient care in a geriatric population.

Letting go of patients that became close to your heart.

It is lively, interactive and multicultural.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A love being with the clients, being able to help them in their ADL and provide appropriate care for them.

It was really a good experience in working in the Long Term Care Units in the facility. I could learn many good things in patient care, especially on aged people.
The Management was excellent; very supportive and helpful. The workplace was awesome. Very neat, tidy and pleasant.
Though there were few occasions when I found it really hard to manage, by the help of co-workers and even from the management team, I could overcome successfully.

True leadership inspires and builds up more leaders. It is unfortunate that this isn't the case. Executive Leadership is a sad representation. 

Its HR department is quite lacking. Poor communication skills, the individual needs some training on how to speak with people appropriately and professionally.

Overall the top line leadership department was a nightmare to work for. 

Future leaders, stay away. 

Executive Director is 2 faced, I don't think she knows what she is doing but will hang anyone out to dry to save butt.
Fire people left right and center, management not honest from the states but so is the staff here.
Person in HR doesn't help any of us like what we had before, she always helped but they fired her probably because she was smart and helpful to us.

Working in Touchmark was really an encouraging one. I got a lot to learn regarding my profession. I got a lot of good experiences with both staves and with the clients. Working atmosphere was always pleasant. Whenever there were some sort of challenges or struggles I could face and could create a productive result which were cherished by many.
