I like that I have been able to work towards goals at my own pace and am supported by my managers.  
My day consists of guarding lane swim, teaching lessons and aquafit classes.  We are able to fully managed our own pool space and so often we are doing chem tests or monitoring or adding chem to our water.  
The hardest part of the job would be being left on deck for extended periods of time and not being able to complete the other jobs that need to be done.  The most enjoyable part of the job for me is teaching the higher level courses.

Positive, supportive co-workers and senior management

Software glitches, being remedied so a non-issue.

Generally,  postive, supportive, good humour, strong team dynamics

Within the tasks of the role, bi-weekly deadlines, get the routine matters done and be ready to deal with the oddities on an ongoing basis.

Working with fellow supervisors

Dealing with senior leadership and council

It is a toxic work environment and the culture is pretty much null an void

Trying to make sure someone doesn't throw you under the bus

Great peers, coworkers were supportive

Stressful working environment. Management including HR is not people centric.

Very negative. People don’t speak up and solve issues.

once you are of no use to them they will just throw you away, give you false hope, will NOT follow back to work requirements drawn up by the government, make false accusations, break multiple laws, break into and steal from desks and lockers without just cause

There are eyes everywhere at the town - keep your mouth shut and you'll be ok - your opinion and thoughts do not count -  the gossip is horrible.  They truly do not care about staff - turn over is constant.

Unbelievable bad management selfish, very sour, unprofessional, I have no idea how they get away with it. rotten to the core. They run the town as if it belongs to them.

Smaller municipality with opportunity to learn many different positions. Pays well, benefits awesome and people are even better. Exceptional fleet of equipment. Talented employees.

Health and safety is a priority. Instead of one big family it is made up of smaller families that work together to achieve the best results possible for our residents.

Management are out to get employees, it seems management only care about their own interests.  It was a constant struggle to work there...it seems that no matter what you did, you couldn't do anything right and then when you did, management took credit for it.
