I loved this place at first, people seemed nice other than a few girls who thought they were all that. No surprise in this industry. Fast forward a few weeks this place is so cliquey, if you not part of the group of girls that are all friends, they treat you like absolutely garbage. Don’t help you when you need it just watch you struggle. The “managers on shift” are petty and to young to actually manage professionally. 
Don’t get me wrong a few girls are super sweet but front of house is only the start of the problems with this place. waitresses have left,  left right and centre due to everything going on due to poor management ment of this place. Quite sad this place had some great aspects but the negative out weighs the positive

Can be a good job. Very chill work environment. Biggest downside is that it is mandatory to work every weekend brunch shifts. So say goodbye to weekends ( Sat/ Sun mornings) . They also do not have a fair system for allocating shifts. For example you may have a good money making shift each week, but if they hire a new girl that shift could be given to the new hire permanently shafting you without a second thought.

TownHall is one of the best places to work at. It has a great atmosphere right when you step foot in the door. I am a hostess and an expo. I've learned so much from this place like remembering table numbers, reading bills, running food. I've been with this place a little over 6 months and have gotten very close with my co workers. Lately the hours have been getting cut because TownHall doesn't need as much hostess's anymore. I am looking for any kind of job that pays!

I was really excited to get this job when I first started. I quickly realized how catty the front of house is and how HR and all management pay no mind to how you’re treated. You get bullied consistently and if you don’t “party” with the rest of the servers you will never fit in. So much gossip and bullying, it’s the most toxic work environment I’ve ever been in. If you report your mistreatment, you will be punished. 

Bartending here for a few months bad management they don’t care about this location for sure. Had good co workers we tried making it work. Good place to learn to serve and bartended if you’re starting out.

Bad communication lost shifts without clear probation talk  knowing what i was doing wrong never let me and my supervisor know just pulled our shifts. Kinda sus working in other bars .

Really great team of people aside from the GM, who is really unsupportive. Will ignore all your concerns, approve your time off and then schedule you anyways, and say bad things about you behind your back. A great place to learn the basics of the industry, but it’s very obvious the company does not care about its staff. Unfortunate. 

Townhall Chilliwack was welcoming from the start, with friendly staff and a comfortable environment. The staff were nice and helpful through the training process. The workplace culture is a big factor in the enjoyment of working at Townhall, with the staff being super close and supportive of everyone.

The hardest part of the job were the late nights and early rises. A typical day a work was very fast pace and the management was always there to help us. The most enjoyable part about my job was meeting a lot of different people from different places, and getting to know them all.

I worked as a dishwasher there for three years. It was initially difficult to keep up with the pace of a restaurant, but it got smoother over time. It's an excellent entry-level occupation.

Fun place to work at, however if you want to move up be prepared to put the business first, always. 

Great place to learn with lax consequences before finding somewhere more serious. 

Prefer to turnover line staff than build them into a strong team.
