I think it really depends what area you're in. I enjoyed working here for a short period until the problems being brought to upper management were never being addressed. HR doesn't do anything either. There's few good supervisors/leaders. Upper management needs to put more work into training their supervisors/leaders, communication is very poor and they stretch them way too thin. Also the wages aren't really competitive with other factories in the area, you can get paid more to start somewhere else, and probably have more possibility to excel. Saturdays are mandated often. Benefits are great though. 

The culture leans somewhat toxic and can feel negative at times, though there are good people in the mix. It carries a bit of a small-town mentality, and you’ll notice the dynamics within the first few weeks. The open office setup and elements of Japanese micromanagement make it difficult to fully focus on tasks at times. Advancement is possible, but the environment can be challenging, especially for degree-holders working alongside leaders who often come from high-school-only backgrounds.

I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know. A decent place if you want to just go in and work and not want to grow. They do not want you to advance. There is no working your way up. They say they want ideas for continuous improvement, but they don’t. Mandating overtime will use your weekends and management can not manage to not require weekend work.

This company wont pay you when you quit. They ask you to work Saturdays. They charge you for uniforms due to they have such a high turnover rate. You have no work/personal life if you work afternoons you work until 1am then force you back on Saturday for 11am.I would not recommend  this company at all.

If you like working six days a week, then this place is definitely meant for you!
Safety isn't number one here, anymore. When I first started here, no phones were allowed on the floor, and your uniform had to be neat and tidy. Now you can be sloppy with your uniform and wear earpods while working around machines and forklifts.



Lots of job security, as it takes an awful lot to get fired here. On the other hand, there is still lots of voluntary turnover. Promotions are non-existent except for the favourite few. You can get some experience, as your workload will continuously increase, but compensation will lag far behind the increased workload.

They don't hire employees once they leave.  If you have good contact with HR then you will get hired. They don't look for related education and work experience.  They just need good reference.  That's wrong. They play politics. 

The basic benefits package and low pay don't compensate for the toxic workplace environment create by management.   With only $.50-$1 raises every 2-5 years this job holds little potential for growth and advancement.

Horrible management. I will not recommend to any engineer to work here. If you live nearby then it is alright stable job. If you have a 3-4 year degree, don’t come here. This is only for high school graduates.
Lots of overtime though.

Skilled labour: Avoid this company (Stratford) . They're unable to retain good people here due to current management. 
1 x Mold /Toolmaker to cover 3 x shifts. No one stays there long.
