Traction on Demand

Expect a lot from employees for culture partcipation (where you have to attend retreats and beer o'clocks). Very loud and can be hard to concentrate. (bring noise canceling headphones or book a meeting room for a quiet space). Very big on drinking culture and can be hard to enjoy events if sober or a non drinker. Team orientated and if management is unfit then responsibility falls on you and team members to pick up workload. Food program is a nice thought but can be difficult to enjoy if you have dietary restrictions as not enough is usually prepared so you might be out of luck for a meal.

Traction loves to boast about it's culture but in reality you will be expected to give up a huge amount of your personal life to support it's "culture". You are pretty much expected to reply to emails during evenings and weekends and must go on extended company "retreats" and road trips.

Beer o'clock on Fridays is having a drink of a Friday afternoon with your colleagues when after working 24/7 you'd really just rather go home.

An ideal job for the single man who has no family or life.

Traction on Demand is a wonderful place to work, great culture and great management. The company is fast paced and offers some of the best colleagues ever. However, the interview process is lengthy and difficult with multiple stages to pass. I would especially be cautious of the Salesforce demo, take some time to get an understanding of the platform before you apply to Traction on Demand jobs.

Good culture. Great people. Lots of work. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lots of zoom meetings. The lots of work.

Team oriented atmosphere.  Experience will heavily rely on your team leaders.  Amazing to work with the salesforce driven system.  Workplace culture is typical of tech companies.  Like a frat house.  Can be difficult to concentrate so bring your noise cancelling headphones.  Fond memories of Beer O'clock Friday's.

Working at Traction on Demand offered a lot of opportunities to touch different areas of the business and find roles or passions inside and outside the company. The culture both is vibrant and fun although do not be mistaken- it is very fast-paced and a lot of work. Overall I would recommend!

Grueling interview process, even as a group meeting your competition. Little to no training, no collaboration, fend for yourself, do not ask questions. Arrogant management.
Large open concept office, small workstations, noisy.

Work was very fast paced and can be placed on multiple projects at once. Work life balance can be not so great if that occurs. Team culture is great, and people are willing to jump in if needed.

The company states they are a community. And "Culture at Traction on Demand isn’t about drinking beer and playing ping-pong – it’s much more.", nope.
But don't go against the higher ups and have your own opinion. You must blend in with the rest of the Sheep. Drinking is the culture end of story.
