one of my favorite places to work has been at TRADEX I began as a food runner where I learned to take and receive food orders for the cashiers, from there I worked my way up to head cashier where I became responsible to till counts, opening and closing of the café, trolley service was for catered service to workers who where setting up for huge events such as the dog show, air show, RV show and car shows along with many other trade shows too numerous to mention, I truly enjoyed the one on one service, and learned many customer service skills in my 5 years there. Truly a wonderful place to work with supervisors and management that were always willing to teach and help. It was mostly weekend work, and every part of my job was a learning experience that has really helped me grow into the strong, reliable, honest and customer service based person I am today.

This is an easy place to work, they have a good environment and they are super accommodating to students, I had to take a month off because of stress over papers and they allowed it. Great management, and just a chill place to work. Depending on what you are doing the wages change and the stress level changes but overall this is a really chill job. They don't have benefits and if there is any ban on group meetings( ie COVID-19) you will not have work. There were a couple of times when they gave me shifts then removed them, which can be a bit stressful if you need money. This job is to supplement your current job or to have a very easy job while at school( university/highschool).

What is the best part of working at the company?
Getting paid weekly. Great co workers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Way to many expected cold calls. Sweatshop environment. Micro managed. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful work environment. Management is belittling. Very fast paced. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start time is very early. Many cold calls.

I would tell cars where to park or the event and direct traffic. How to talk to customers when working, in a professional workplace. The management was pretty good, and they gave us walkie talkies to communicate with each other. Co-workers were pretty nice. Hardest part of the job was when we had to work in the rain/cold. The most enjoyable part was when we got to rid e around in the cart,

This job is very physical demanding and long shift work with various event time scenarios and long time before breaks. 
Can be stressful on the body working the overnight shift. Work is not too difficult to do when working as a team player. The people to work with are very enjoyable and helpful. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to see the various shows being put on while working and without pressure.

I loved the TRADEX as it provided new exciting things to see each day as we always had fairs,conferences, car shows, etc. Was very heartfelt to learn they hire outside of disables and believe as a whole that everyone has the right to be employed. Unfortunately, management lacked training and job placement as I was hired as Front Of House Serving in the Cafe, but was then maintained as a dishwasher for my 1 year stay.

U get no hr they dont talk to u thre rude apt times the staff are not trust worthy  as they dress in jeans not professional  type prevents  are god but the kitchen staff  dont great u with smile they over charge

The bosses are nice, it's a fun place to work at. All my coworkers are nice. Its a fun place to work at. It gets busy from fall to spring but not in the summer

The only hard part about the job was standing in the rain for eight hours. I enjoyed the management that care about the employees.

good job to start a career with, sadly its only seasonal. every couple months its a shift or two here or there
