My time spent at Trailblazers was filled with gossipy management, unfair treatment to employees, and being overworked and underpaid. 
The HR was ridiculous, and insufficient. Problems wouldn't get resolved in a timely manner, nor in a respective and approachable way. 
The pay sucked for the amount of work they put onto employees, and how understaffed they were. The cap for someone having worked there for 7 years is under $15. Ridiculous.

If they paid there employee s a fare wage they wouldn't have so much turn over, and what company caps a wage after 5 years of service and doesn't even think of given there long time employees a cost of living wage increase.  It seems upper management and CEO are so out of touch about the front line operation.

No training or courses. No room to advance  No raises  Very Narcissistic behaviour of CEO,Management and HR.  Don’t value/listen to staff about concerns or about participants.  Huge turnover in Management Over 8 plus Managers in a very short period.  No raises No staff incentives 




Very one sided.  No raises work for many years no raises.

There are honestly days when I have said that to myself. It is so much fun there. Once the pandemic is gone and things open up again, I’ve been told he will be going to the Forks, museums, concerts, sporting events etc. The staff and Management there are so amazing. And I love each and everyone of the clients.

The hourly pay is kinda false cause it's really 11.25 but you get a top up premium to bring it to 13.75 for working with more difficult client's..on holidays or sick days it's only 11.25...its a terrible place to work..they don't care about staff no matter how hard you work. I don't recommend it at all..there are way better agencies like new directions around. Trust me this is not a good place to work

Good company to work for. Have good benefits, RRSP program, lots on promotions and ways to move higher in the company.

There are lots of staff events outside of work to help build the team.

An agency that does not care about its employees.  And does not have proper resources to aid employees in improvement.
Staff are over worked and under paid.  
Management has unrealistic expectations of their staff and staff get next to no training at all.

Awesome opportunity to develop new communication skills.  Trailblazer's is a place where you can grow and learn in a safe environment,  Trailblazers has taught me patience and has given me a better understanding of team work.

The house I work in and the people I support are wonderful. There are always learning opportunities and while the job isn’t without challenges I’d absolutely recommend Trailblazers to anyone in the field looking for an opportunity.
