We were very excited to start working with this company. They made us believe that they were a fully bilingual company. We are from Ontario and do not speak French. When we arrived for orientation, ALL DOCUMENTATION was in French only. INCLUDING our employment contracts that we were expected to sign. Once on the road, we would send a message to dispatch in English for assistance with something only to receive a reply in French, even though everyone responding to satellite messages are bilingual. We felt invisible, ignored and disrespected. Even other drivers refused to speak English to us knowing we didn't speak French and also knowing that they are required by law to speak English to drive a commercial vehicle in the US. They could if they wanted to but they refused. So I would advise that if you aren't fully bilingual, don't bother...

Trans-west really takes care of their employees.They give a really good paid training and have outstanding management. I had a really good experience working with them. You have to love California, and you will love it. I know that they have raised their wages, but when I was there a few years ago the pay was a little bit low, but they would give amazing support and good benefits to compensate

Great place to work with freedom and support when needed. I’ve been there around 15 years and had no complaints to make. I trained new drivers too and the pay was good
