What is the best part of working at the company?
A company that says you are a self employed business, you have no say how you would or could run your so called business, legally you are a dependent employee! Trust me Transforce is above the law and run by dictators!
If you are thinking of joining the s… show be careful.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dictatorship from above, plus they always try to blame the drivers for their mistakes 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You work on your own with orders from the dictator 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful as you cannot start your routes until told too, so mid day traffic is a huge problem

Convoluted management but good environment.  Plenty of great people to work with, and the company treats employees fairly well.  However, the management structure is extremely convoluted due to the consolidation of many banners, and employees that physically work in Alberta can be "employees" of the Ontario office, and vice versa.  Very strange corporate structure.

Because of my employment with Stream Logistics (a TransForce co), the duties had enabled me to perform my best as a logistics coordinator and broker
Worked with good knowledgeable vendors and created ever lasting relationships with some customers

Ever since transforce got into the union the set the lead hands wage too low and it took 6 years for myself to just get a 18 cent increase I wish that they did not set that wage but being there that long and get soo little it's time to change

Work was ever changing and excellent for developing experience.

I also enjoyed the expenditures of the executive team - they were willing to spend the money required on IT - Not salaries but...

Watch out for the wicked witch. One day the Labour Board will get to know her well. No class, no professionalism, and talks like she is from the hood.

Call centre environment with fast pace. 
Flexible hours. 
On going training. 
Easy to get to location. 
Helpful management. 
Casual professional attire.

Transforce is very professional company. I have learned a great deal from my co-workers and made my work ethics much better.

It was fine. Good people. It was a laid back atmosphere and everything was ran out of Montreal and Toronto. it doesn't look like they are doing a lot of business in Western Canada due to oil prices.
