I enjoyed working there at first until I started to get to know my employees very unprofessional when it comes to being in the field there is no compassion when it comes to the client is not enough sensitivity I really don't know what else to say I don't have anything positive my experience was not what I expected it to be I expected this company to put the clients first unfortunately it was not that way

The individuals are the best part. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The lack of care from other support workers. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
not healthy work culture as people don’t respect their roles. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go in, chat, check meds, outings, what needs to be done and do it in the client’s best interest.

If you have any sort of physical disability they will terminate you. They are very good at blind siding!!! Very stressful job! When you need  help they dont return your phone calls or texts and leave you extremely stressed! Would not recommend working here unless you want to be upset and stressed. On your days off they call you, so you never have a peaceful day off. They do not follow their own rules!

I have worked in a few different agencies and Transitions is by far the most enjoyable.  Management is supportive and encourages work/life balance.  The individuals I supported are active, happy, and contributing members of their community.  My co-workers have worked with the agency for 15+ years which speaks volumes to their happiness with this agency.  I highly recommend Transitions as an employer.  

Transitions was a great organization to work for. From the director to my frontline team mates, everyone worked together to achieve goals. I learned a lot from my time there and would recommend it to anyone looking for a job where they can not only increase their skill set, but also make a positive impact on the lives of others.

No paid vacation, management in residential is ok, but on mobile is not good. No work life balance. They take away your vacation if you’re sick or have a personal emergency and HR is horrible. They make you take a form to your doctor to fill out if you’re sick and no doctor will fill it out for less than $100, a simple doctors note is not acceptable 

Management are VERY cliquey. They do not care about their staff, let alone the people they support. Very poor communication skills from management team, and poor management overall. Culture is centred around gossip, and who knows who the best.

Good company but does have your standard drama as with any other company. They treat you well if you show up and do your job right. People that they support are great. Wage is above average. If your good at what you do you have really good job security.

Depending on the activity level of clients, you can have a busy shift or a more relaxed shift.

If you have mobility issues the company will find a way to weed you out, even if they have to lie to find a way.

I am very impressed with this organization and the overall culture. 
All frontline and corporate staff is very passionate about the work they do and  collaborate effectively together to deliver to their clients.
