Was a great place to work when I was a teen. It was decent pay and I heard they got raises after I left. Overall it was an easy job with good coworkers and I had a great manger. I remember it being like a family. Had a lot of fun and meet a lot of cool people. The hours were pretty good and could even work more if I wanted. Was treated very well at the time. 

Decided to leave after the union was no longer fighting for the employees. Union doesn't strike which hurts them fighting for our pay increases. The management can be good or bad depending on who is currently hired. If you are hungry enough you can have some left over food that was sitting around a few hours.

This is a LGBTQ+ positive workspace, my boss is so very nice to all of us. There are not many hours, so it is more like a side job than a full gig, but you are part of a union and do have job security. You're able to gain seniority after working a full season (year) which is nice. Overall the workplace is nice, the job is easy, and honestly who could complain!

Working at the Tribute Communities Centre is both rewarding and exciting. The management is supportive of you regardless of age, race, ethnic background, sexuality, gender identity, and pretty much everything else you can think of! I recommend this place to anyone!

Good side job but was hoping for more hours as a university student. Can be a stressful environment. Shifts are short but also feel long because of the amount of customers. Supervisors were nice. However, I did not receive proper training and most employees were returning so they knew what to do. It was my first job.

Be careful of this place, the managers will fire you with 0 cause in an email and don't really care about employees whatsoever. They have bad hours here too. Other employees were nice to work with but terrible management, won't recommend this place to anyone.

The job was easy and fun, working concession stands at hockey games, concerts and events but hours vary since you are only scheduled when there are events. Must be available for at least 2 days a month with shifts ranging from 4-8 hours each shift. Also not allowed to accept any tips at all. 

I really enjoy working here and am actually excited to go to work on scheduled shifts, you are treated well and co-workers are amazing to work with. The schedule is based on events happening in the building. The pay is great and uniforms are provided with a small fee thats worth it. 

Good days and bad days mostly bad. Not paid nearly enough for what is expected of you. Can be hectic at times, scattered hours as u only work when there is an event which isn’t very often so don’t think u can make anything close to a decent income from this, just extra coffee change. 

I liked it there and all of the management staff were great to me and I had to resign because of my health and now I got my health under control so I miss working there. its a fun place to work at for sure
