Typical work day would include confirmation calls to patients, schduling patients for next appointments, preparing estimates for upcoming dental treatment, processing patient insurance and payments to the office, preparing day end reports, following up with insurance companies regarding patient coverage, dealing with patient questions and complaints. I learned to be very organized and stay ahead of the schedule to help the office run smoothly. My co-workers were hard working and relied greatly on reception to keep their days full and running smoothly. I had a wonderful office manager who I worked closely with that was an amazing teacher and I remain friends with outside of the office. The hardest part of the job was discussing extremely expensive treatments that patients needed but could not afford, but just before I left the company we began having financing available so that made these discussions a lot easier. I most enjoyed being able to see and speak with many different patients on a daily basis and I would prefer to always have something to do.

My co-workers are amazing! Busy busy busy, but fulfilling work. You get used to the pace and it is all worth it when you start to get to know patients and their families. Helping patients feel better and keeping them healthy really is rewarding.

I really love working with patients, my mom worked in a dental office and always had wonderful stories so I knew I wanted to work in healthcare somehow and this great fit came along and I grabbed it. I even like the paperwork.

I definitely had to shape things up a little bit when I first started here but everyone was willing to work with the changes and we started working like a well-oiled machine. People who would leave quickly honestly just didn’t put as much effort in.

Good working environment, not much interaction with the owners unfortunately. Hard to get CE and training as a group and/or individual.  Staff meetings were unpaid over your lunch.  Overall good protocols, policies and procedures at the clinics.

This is a great place to work if you are really into dentistry and oral health!
They do everything from basic work and hygiene right up to TMJ, sleep apnea, implants, crowns and full reconstruction. The environment is more like a big family so even though it is fast-paced, everyone helps and supports their teammates.

I just love working for Trillium Dental. I have learned so much in a few years and the excitement of learning new things is the main driver for me. It's challenging and also rewarding. The staff is amazing and feel like part of a team. Everyone is so helpful and always willing to lend a hand.

This company makes you feel like you are apart of a family. Every family has there ups and downs but they figure it out together. If you give them respect they will give you respect. If you show you are willing to learn and keep learning they will be there to help you every step along the way.

I have been in this field a long time and I’ve had good and bad bosses and good and bad coworkers. I heard good things about this office from a friend in the industry, applied, and got hired, and it was the best thing I could have done for my career, really! 

I’ve worked a few different positions like this over the last two years, and this is by far my favorite. The work hours work great for me, decent pay, and my boss is pretty good. Also I have great and super helpful coworkers. I like this place!
