In the landscape construction world, Trim is the place to grow. Not many landscaping companies offer advancement to your career path. Trim offers a competitive wage for workers who are consistent, dedicated, willing to learn, and punctual. They have benefits with dental coverage. If your looking for a fast paced environment with room to advance, a very fun group of people to work with and employers who don’t micromanage your daily tasks, then this is the place for you.

I worked for Trim for just over 6 years, there were some long hard days, but I enjoyed every project I worked on. I was hired as a labourer and moved to the position of crew leader quite quickly. If you work hard, listen and learn you will be rewarded within this organization. What sets trim apart is the Culture, they take safety seriously with monthly meetings usually with breakfast or a bbq and the events are always fantastic. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

By far the best Landscaping company I’ve worked for. Great environment to work in. Management and crew leads are very welcoming, and make you feel appreciated. I can absolutely see myself with the company for a long time. We get lots of work during the summer months. They also offer winter work. Snow removal keeps you going on the cold months. Plenty of room for advancement. I rarely leave a days work without learning a new skill. I highly recommend working for Trim. 

Getting to do someone else’s job all day with no compensation for it and get told your not doing good enough when you don’t conform to there over bearing workloads for the starting 18$ an hour they offer if you value family friends or having a life outside of work this is not the place for you you will not advance and there is no career here for any good workers 

Such a great place to work at! The owners seem to really care about their staff and that makes you want to work even harder for such a great company to succeed. It’s really the people that make the place and such a good team environment! A proud feeling once a project is complete to see the hard work everyone put in!

The toxic, insecure leaders are the worst. Do not display confidence (competence) around them, you will be labeled difficult. They like their staff meek and demoralized. HR is not your friend and we're not a big family. Trim Landscaping is not a merit based environment. You'll have to drink the cool-aid in order to get along here. Joining cults is not recommended.

Really enjoyed being part of the team, owner gave me all the support I needed to be successful at my job. Great place to work in the Halifax region. Work challenges were a perfect fit for me.

I did not enjoy my time there as most crews are unprofessional and lack the required knowledge to do their jobs correctly and professionally also the employee "benefits" consist of sub optimal health Benefits and non competitive compensation and not a lot of room for growth personally would not recommend this company . 

Work as a truck driver for trim, has been a very rewarding experience. Everyone is very pleasant and supportive of one anothers tasks and initiatives. I find the management at trim to be very intentional in thier operations, very precise and business like. I have learned to become a very efficient team member

Trim was very professional to work with and had good benefits, and also a 30 minute paid lunch break. The downside is that days are 10 hours but most of the time you’re out for 11-12 hours, unless it rains which sometimes you still have to work in. It is quite physically demanding for the compensation.
