A very fast-paced environment that was frankly stressful to work in. I worked as a contract worker for the manufacturing/assembly department and was thrown onto the line on my first day, no training whatsoever. In such a rapid workplace, my inexperience caused a slowdown for my coworkers, who had to teach me - unwillingly - on the job. Regarding my coworkers, there was a mix of friendly and irritated attitudes, which didn't make for a comfortable work environment.

Management was rather poor, in my opinion. Plenty of the contract workers at the time never got their daily schedules, and we weren't allowed to work together. Perhaps it was because the supervisors feared we'd be too distracted by chatting to work, however, the older employees could do as they liked without complaint. There were also supervisors who low-key harassed a friend of mine (also a contract worker) for "being too slow," despite him being a perfectly capable worker. Again, older employees could leave their stations whenever they wished without issue, but contract workers would get told off.
Regarding the daily schedules, even if I got one, there were plenty of times where another (older) coworker would kick me off my station because they hadn't gotten their own schedule and were told by the supervisor to switch with me. Consequently, I'd be without a task for that hour or two and would need to speak with the supervisor and go to whichever area they dumped me in.

The salary was very good, compared to minimum-wage jobs, however, it certainly wasn't worth the lack of training, mismanagement and inappropriate attitudes toward the contract workers.

If you have well paying and a settled job. Do not leave to join here. You will regret.
You will feel sometimes like a K.G. kid being schooled on how you should walk, talk, write and behave all the time. Your experience & what you can do will not be important but what others think about you will be of paramount importance. What you may think of others will not be entertained. You may be expected to perform some kind of magic to change and improve things with in 1 to 3 months of being there by some people who have seen nothing outside this place for their life. 
You have to perform but without any powers given to you.

Trudell is a shining example company that is careful of who they hire and they keep. Only the best trained and educated employees in the city work here. Koodos to TMI for being a role model to other medical device companies im Canada and worldwide. A lot of new developments are coming out of this very innovative company that has more to show than any other work place of its size. They have more inventions than all Universities and Colleges put together in London ON and surrounding firms.

Would not recommend. Was let go 7 weeks into training, which was all remote. No constructive feedback on what might need improvement to succeed, they need to get better grasp of what the Covid-19 workplace is regarding little to no in person training, told 3-6 months to feel comfortable in role, only to be terminated 7 weeks in. Would not recommend this company as good as it may sound at first.

The company, the culture and general spirit was great before many changes in the leadership team. They are leading the company toward the dark side of the business.
Many great people already left, never seen such a turnover before.
Everyone newly hired is trying keep and legitimate his job, so a lot of pressure on the real working people.
Unfortunately I had to live because the direction taken is wrong.
The only ones who remained at the company are those without vison nor ambition.

It is not a bad job to have. The company tries to make everything more doable for its workers. The people on the line are pretty nice. They are always there to give a helping hand especially to the new employees. The only hard part is keeping up with the targets especially if you are new. Being in Trudell makes you grow as a person. It helps me to see what others' perspectives are and how the company values its people.

Worked for this company for 23 years. As a materials supervisor could not even order tape guns without Director getting involved.
After cancer treatment and a lung removed, put on permanent disability, with the minimum severance package There are way too many managers, directors, associate directors and group directors. At one time a great product but nothing new in years, even with 17 engineers.

Working at TMI has been greatly rewarding. I would never trade this experience with anything else. I worked in Marketing Team, and the people there are so humble and helpful. They welcomed me with open arms and helped me grow both professionally and personally.  I guess if anyone asks me what I love most about working there: it's the team and work culture!

I really recommend working at Trudell Medical International. 

They talk a good talk but employees are overworked, underpaid and certainly not appreciated.  Favortism and nepotism.  Family owned company managed under a shroud of secrecy which also means centralized decision making.  Old technology.  Poor change management.  I am not optimistic of the future of this company. I will be leaving.
