It was a very good working experience in this company. I worked with them for about one year. I learned a lot. Some easy days, tough days, and amazing days. They have always supported and trained me. The dispatch texts me every morning to make sure I arrived at the site successfully. The best thing that if they saw you doing great and a hard worker on site. they will train you to operate heavy machines (BoomLift, SicssorLift, Skid steer, Forklift, etc) so you can be even more successful and have more sites to work on. I did not have a car when I first started with them. They used to send to nearby sites so I do not have to spend 2 to 3 hours on transportation. I started as general labor and became skilled labor with them. I highly recommend you to work with them if you want to get into the construction industry.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great response team. I have the utmost respect for the crew back in the office and behind the scenes. They gave me great placement and treated me good. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing at all. They take  care of everything. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Thing is that you might not even see anyone else in the company. Everytime someone came by to see me on the jobsite I wasn't in the office so I kept missing them. It is what you make of it. 


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working on a construction jobsite doing safety and First Aid.

When I was first hired with True North Labour Inc, one of the managers went out of his way to pick me up and put me on the job site himself. I was also in contact with the CEO who took an active part in ensuring that his workers made it to the sites and rewarded hard workers. They offered great pay and certifications through the company. They were also very understanding of students and accommodating towards persons with disabilities. I have nothing but great things to say about True North. I just wish I was still working for them!

They always had work and were always very supportive to me as an employee

I was never stressed so nothing to say here

If I wanted to work there was always work available which wasn't my experience with other companies like this

True North is a good place to work. Yes, they are temporary agency, but assignments are long-term, pay is weeekly and everyone in the office is amazing.  They do practical test at an interview and then match you to jobs based on this. You can get training on weekend or after hours and get your construction tickets free. I stongly recommend this copmany

True North Labour has always provided engaged and positive atmosphere for its employees. Mainly because True North Labour staff and management does not separate themselves from their employees and always eager to help. I would recommend this company to workers that want to become part of our family.

Not many complaints, the working hours are good and the pay is good for a job that doesn't require any special licensing. Job sites slow way down in the Winter to the point where you're basically not working at all, and the positions for the odd job that appears fill up fast. But otherwise, great place to work friendly co-workers and management.

They keep saying on there ad they care but they don't care about there employees 
When you call in sick or a family matter you need to take care of but after that done and call back in for availability they don't give you any job for a very long time and they don't tell you what you did or anything just let you go 

I found that they also have yrs of experience and are able to help you take steps in courses to make sure you are ready for work place and safety with confidence.
