Tuboscope

Tuboscope is a very dangerous place to work in the Grande Prairie shop. they do not give the proper tools or equipment and do not fix or repair things that need to be fixed or replaced resulting in a lot of work place injuries. management is horrible and dont pay attention to whats going on in the shop at any given time and if you bring a problem to them all they say is they dont have time to deal with this right now, no matter how important the situation is. 
they expect you to put your job before your family and kids.

This is a great company! Excellent pay with consistant raises. If you like working and earning a great wage apply here! The only problem I had was that I was working 7 days a week at the end of my employment.

Loved the crew i worked with on a daily basis, the work was very physically demanding, there for i loved that i got to keep in such great shape. the mangers didn't evolve themselves in their employee too much.

My first job that I kept due to enjoying the work and fellow workers through out employment.
The pay was sub par(just above minimum wage)and as life and family grew so did the need for a higher rate of pay.

Co-workers were easy to work with, while management was a little more difficult. This job consisted of always being dirty because of the preparation of pipe. This job required a lot of heavy lifting and was very repetitive.

The best part of this job is in the end of the day every buddy go home and safely.this place is good for work every buddy is happy no racist or sexist.

Very busy day working mostly by myself. You couldn't do enough to please this company. Poor management in the end of when I was there. At the time I was there it was busy 3 people had to replace me when I left.

- at the time plenty of overtime
- on call every other week,after hours and weekends
- dealt with truckers a lot, generally they were good people

I inspected drill pipe for 3 years worked at the shop and on the feild learned how to blacklight drill pipe check for cracks  I mainly worked at NOV in robstown
