Work-life balance is virtually non-existent since you are required to work almost every weekend because of "business needs". Your life will literally revolve around this job. Also, unnecessary stress given to employees and extra tasks not mentioned in job description are required of the employees as well. Untrustworthy upper management and work culture is extremely toxic. Too much micromanaging as well. Hard to grow within the company in Canada.

- They typically give you good hours.
- They want to keep employment small. So you mostly work alone or with 1 colleague the whole day.
- You either work opening or closing shifts, no middle shifts (which is very exhausting).
- "Manager" role can be quite deceiving, as there are no sales associates under you.
- There are heavy responsibilities. You do the shipments, garbage runs, cleaning the store, back office tasks, and you need to meet your sales goals on top of all that.

The team at Tumi Eton Centre is a collaborative and supportive team.
The training program and the training from the team on-site allowed me to grow a lot and becoming a good salesperson in the store.  
The challenge of this job is to know products well enough to provide customers with the best choice for them. 
Working with incredible and intelligent people serving customers was an extraordinary experience

No clear communication from upper management. No support in training and developing. This company does not motivate their employees. They demoralize their staff 

I was brought in as a part time employee. The job itself is easy - it's retail. You wither like it or you don't.

The manager was good, but the rest of the staff was horrible. They were more concerend about their lives outside of the store, were always on their phones and were so 2 faced. The manager was aware, but did nothing about it. 

There was no chance for growth. Don’t work for part time there. They will cut down your hours 15hrs to 5hrs per week. And they will say it’s on you and your fault to work as a part timer. 

Tumi, is an amazing company. 
A place to call homw of you are looking to further your career working with high end brand. Hard work is always acknowledge and compensated!

TUMI's brand spirit is: functional; quality and low profile. The hardest part of TUMI would be product knowledge and also the inventory. Everyone has to do shipping and receiving. I learnt a lot from TUMI.

Good benefits but stressful because you have to do sales as well. And there will be a target everyday. Flexible schedules and easy to get a long with the staff. 

Lots of learning experience and less workload than other retails. However the pay is low and schedule is bad.
Most customers shopping at Tumi are nice and easy to connect with.
