Where to start, I worked in the Vancouver office for a good couple of years. It was fine for the most part; we worked hard, we got our s**T done, we got to expense beers, had fun all round. It was the people I worked with on the same level that kept me there so long honestly. 

Management was good up until a point when a new Director of Sales was hired for the region. This person was a huge catalyst in the downfall of overall morale in the office and was a constant issue for most people working there. From what I know now this person would go behind backs and step on people to get themselves further up the management ladder which was evident at the time I was just blind to it. 

I would avoid the Vancouver office at all costs to spare your mental wellbeing. Lots of pressure and unattainable metrics for someone green in the industry. I wouldn't even go back now with some more years of experience. 



Severely mismanaged. There’s definitely great employees on the team with high potential, but the management/people leaders don’t have the skills/resources to manage the teams. There’s definitely a cliquey vibe to this place and management can be very apathetic and fake nice. Doing a great job with the targets, and overall, will also not necessarily make your life any easier - be prepared to still be demeaned and belittled publicly with various snide and passive aggressive remarks by the management in team meetings. The management is also not open to any feedback, or constructive criticism in general, even though they may be aware of the issues in the workplace. If you try bringing anything up, they are going to try putting you down and invalidating your experiences. The organization lacks professionalism. 

I got hired at Tundra through a recruiter reaching out to me. I had no previous experience as a recruiter and wanted to give it a try, so this was the perfect opportunity. Great training and work atmosphere. I recommend to all junior recruiters, or people wanting to get into the industry.

As it is a very fast growing company, the growing pains are felt from the get go. People are constantly being promoted into new positions, which is amazing, however, it also means that the growing pains as they adjust are felt across the board.

This is a great company to learn valuable skills in recruiting. The culture is wonderful if you are successful in the role. 

Salary is far below average for this type of role. Expectation to work overtime. 

Takes a long time for you to actually start seeing the money from your placements so, ensure you have a strong financial cushion if you plan on working here. 

There is absolutely no HR at this company which is alarming for company of this size.

Only issue was salary and its quite a low pay scale in terms of base pay. Decent commission like in the other similar organizations 

A lot of work really fast paced, stressful environments. Be ready to work crazy hours. Average working day hours will be 15hrs.  Management is overwhelmed unable to assist with the workload. False hope given on continuously base. But there is potential to learn a lot, team is somewhat helpful. 



This was for a temporary position, and everything fell into place.  My only regret was not being able to extend the contract, as I found full-time employment elsewhere.

The recruiter was able to place me with an employment opportunity that matches my experience, great communication while on assignment however communication was not kept at the tail end of the contract.

Terrible workplace. Terrible salaries and management. Overworked and underpaid. No work life balance. No matter how much you work for them, it's never enough. Work anywhere else but here. 

Good fun coworkers!  Great place to learn the industry, challenging to earn commission depending on accounts you're working with. Some favoritism exists, but fun good group.
