Community support involves driving the clients anywhere they want to go in a day and it often involves unsafe areas, so people who apply need to be constantly aware of their surroundings. 
Tons of paperwork and documentation required everyday at the end of the workday. 
Extremely stressful environment for minimum wage. Does not and will not, give raises to their employees, as they do not have funding for it. I worked there for many years and never received a raise. I later wrote a letter to request one and months later they came back and explained that they could not afford it, but all agreed that I did deserve one. 
Some staff are kind, but as the job is very isolated this does not make a difference as you rarely get to speak with other coworkers, which makes the job even more stressful as you will have no one to share frustrations with. 
Some of the managers cannot or will not, speak to staff in a respectful manner. That being said, I had the odd boss over the years that was nice to work with (I had many as the turnover rate is very high).
Clients are really nice to work with if you are able to do this type of constantly stressful work.
Lots of really good workshops/course opportunities. 
Damage done to vehicles by clients is not covered. Wear and tear on the vehicle for very little mileage money, makes it not worth using a vehicle so people should buss if possible.

I have worked this field before in several different locations through the years. This place sounded amazing when I started! (Got me with “free therapy” and great benefits) but ended in stress leave due to my own issues as well as being SUPER burnt out. The location I worked in has been very short staffed due to people leaving or being let go due to them standing up for themselves or the clients and have brought concerns higher up. I was “trained” but I don’t feel like I was trained properly. (We have the training checklist sheets, no one signed off on. Or were told to put their initials in for them) 
And the supervisor is very unprofessional. Told staff & a client that I didn’t work there or had a job with turning leaf as I had been on “stress leave” . Multiple reasons why stress leave. I was overworked, and burnt out. When I was coming back, I was sat down and the senior case manager said it was a me problem and that the supervisor was in the right about what he did. And that it was my fault and that they were not going to do anything about it. So no one actually cares about your well being and only care about the money coming to them. 

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the structure of a typical workday changed and the overall support we provided was made more challenging, due to not being able to utilize many public spaces. 
While working with Turning Leaf, I had two wonderful managers and one sub-par. Chances for advancement within the company are limited, and opportunities for increased wages are next-to-none. 
Overall, I enjoyed my time with this company due to the nature of the work being within my interests. 

Company is not what it used to be. Sadly the quality service and caring environment that used to be a given is no longer in place. Growing too quickly and becoming too focused on funding means that little support and energy is actually being focused on the needs of participants. The pay is terrible with little to no relief. Turn over of staff was alarming in the year I was with Turning Leaf. I was the only employee left out of the original 14 hired for a household.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Teamwork and communication among the workers most especially the recruitment department.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It is fun working in the company, the only stress is getting a parking space

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is a diversified environment with total inclusive.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It is always a busy day with department feedback  and team meeting

They are flexible and accommodate but pay could be better as well as location matching to reduce mileage and travel times. Can be fun but also repetitive. Wish they would be more forthcoming on actual job descriptions as you don't feel very accomplished at the end of the day for the most part  

Working in a group home is challenging enough but having that support from your team members does a lot of help and comfort. I did not particularly like the management sometimes but all in all, it was a good experience to hop on from. 

A very good place to work,  no discrimination, fair treatment, no superiority, no seniority just a loving place to work with kind harted staffs and supervisors. I will recommend friends and family's over and over again. I love TL.

I was at Turning Leaf for almost 3 years. I really loved my job, and built solid relationships with most of my clients. But there is favoritism at play. I worked hard, but put my family first, and that ended up being my downfall. 

Amazing team of kind hearted people who go above and beyond to help those in the comments struggling with mental health. Staff are supported in their roles and mental health for staff is prioritized
