Tweed Farms

When i first got there it was great, i would hear people bad mouth the company and i didn't see why they would think that way. About 2-3 months into working for tweed i realized everyone who is in charge had no knowledge in this field. And when someone comes along that can seriously help the company they feel threatened, and end up fire/laying them off. The actual plants mean nothing to the people in charge, its all a numbers on a sheet. If you can get passed working for a "medicinal" greenhouse that only has an interest for how many plants they jammed into their facility and not the medicine being sold to help people. Its the wal-mart of the medicinal marijuana business.

Day typically started with sanitation practices and morning meeting. 
Routine check ups of plants and other project progress. Any maintenance or cleaning was completed. 
Daily plant care and maintenance. 
Routine scout of crop for pest or pest damage. Carry out Pest management plan. Make changes to plan based on observations with crop and greenhouse environment. 
Results, work activities and other data that was collected during the day was entered into database. 
Co-workers were great and fun to work with. 
The days were long when required but satisfying when tasks were completed. 
Job was very physical demanding in outdoor conditions which was also enjoyable.

This place is really well run, everybody is pleasant and hard working, I have learned how to trim, deleaf, and the general upkeep of the cannabis plant, as well as furthering my knowledge of the plants growth and vulnerabilities.
Management are fair and kind, and happy to answer any questions.
Hardest part is the heat and the commute.
Most enjoyable, good people, good product, appreciative managers.

Always exciting news about the company on media and stock market which makes things more interesting about the job. Also the company them selves do exciting things to motivate the staff on a weekly/monthly basis ex. happy hours, birthday dice, fit challenge ,pizza days, food trucks etc.

Typical day at work would be checking on and caring for thousands of clones and their mother plants. Management teaches you a lot about the plant and proper care. Great work culture. Hardest part of the job is probably the summer heat. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people.

I miss working at tweed. It was hard work and hot environment but I loved it none the less. I had great managers, coworkers and friends. Even the hardest, hottest days were always made fun!

The employer and my coworkers were quite good at behavior and were cooperative.They have pick up and drop service for their far employees.work environment is also fine as there are appropriate breaks for workers.

I would advise anyone trying to get there foot in the door in the legal cannabis industry, to give it a try. You definitely get the experience and see what large growing entails .

Tweed was a great way to earn new experience in a growing industry that has not yet really been explored. Employees had great work ethic creating a great environment.

Bad communication skills, bad management
Easy work to maintain, basic knowledge to work there
unorganized place to work, does not treat employees well
