A day started with opening the branch and having a short meeting with the manager for the day-plan. Setting up shop, setting rates and start attending to clients. Handle complaints, if any. During my tenure as a Branch Compliance Officer, i conducted routine compliance measures and trained staff about all governmental rules and regulations. As the Marketing Head, brainstorm new ideas, tap new markets and achieve targets on a monthly basis.
Learnt how to put the customer first in a highly competitive market. legal compliance, selling and handling objections. 
Management has been more or less good with treating employees as family. I believe there was more room for improvement in terms of guidance, training and involvement from the national head office in Toronto.
Co-workers were very supportive and solved conflicts through mature communication. 
The hardest part was when someone's cash did not tally with their til and we had to jump in to find and amend errors.
Most enjoyable part was, unarguably, meeting clients from different ethnic backgrounds and experiences.

Since I joined this Company I never found a typical day to work with. Yes, at the time of joining few day were hard to work because of not knowing enough things for the Company. I have learnt how to be patient with customers in really bad situation and how to fulfil their needs. I also learnt lots of banking activities. I love to work with foreign currencies. co-workers are really amazing here. we are all from the different nations but we are like a family.hardest part of my work is to convince the customer and that thing I love to play with.

I liked working at UAE Exchange as we use to meet a lot of people with different culture there that was a lot of fun and i came to know a lot about different cultures and people.I got to learn about different currencies and how they relate to Canadian dollar, and many other details about financial transactions what is legal and what is not .Our management was good as they did routine communication with us regarding any problems that we had.The only thing that made me leave UAE Exchange was that it was not my field and i wanted to come back in computer's field .

A typical day at work is "do your job right and no one bothers you" 

Management keeps good co-ordination with staff members and ensuring employee satification.

The hardest part of the job is, end of the day.

The most enjoyable part of the job is that  there were times for independent work and time to work in a team.

Co-workers is so friendly and caring, almost like a  family .

It was my first job in Canada to start with, had a group of very friendly colleagues and and Trainers. Enough time provided for training and getting accustomed to environment, well guiding heading people with very positive and motivating attitude, a little too much focus given to targets which was stressful to an extent.

Highly ethical and trustworthy colleagues and staff. Management always show great care of people. However, targets are a bit challenging. But management is always available for support to issues that they were able to address

Employees are treated nice, but pay is less and long hour shifts.
Lack of exposure and professionalism

Management is not competitive in north American market and failed to produce results and presence in market.

Knowledgeable colleagues to work with, highly motivating management, good ambiance, multi-cultured, can express your feelings and ideas and are honored and implemented.

Every day we use to update the excel sheet for our records and forward to the management. With this company i learned Excel, word and AML. We use to have party in every month once we achieve our target.

Good company with a flexible and considerate management. But no long term career advancement and no monetary reward for better performance.
