a very noisy and not a very professional environment. The culture has a "bro" type culture and people will communicate in a very poor/derogatory manner as most employees are under the age of 25 and obviously they were not taught how to be respectful and to do a job that they were hired to do. You will have huge scheduling issues with these young/millennials who clearly want to party and vacation more than they want to develop a career for themselves. Good luck trying...but this is a horrible place to work.

When it comes to UFC GYM Mississauga, your experience is what you make of it. In my 5 years here I was able to build my existing skills and learn new ones in order to succeed for my future career. The gym environment is generally fast-paced and can be overwhelming at times but once you get the hang of it, you learn you can handle anything. The management is amazing, the most supportive team anyone could ask for. Everyone is positive with high energy, it is the type of place you look forward to coming to work for. 

-20 dollars an hour/per class. 
-You also get 10 dollars per each "fitness assessment" ,management say you can do an assessment in 30 minutes ( go figure!!). It is not a real assessment at all but a selling tool to trick clients to buy personal training. Like good life.
-Most of the good coaches have left because the one in charge of scheduling fills all his ours first instead of sharing with other coaches.
-If you notice, their add has been up for months looking for coaches to join.

The customers make or break the job for you, The coaches are great, however they have a high turn over rate as they are always hiring more coaches (thinking that hiring more coaches will led to more personal training sales). There is no room for advancements and one of the owners likes to micro manage you and use scare tactics for you to keep your job. 
The owners know nothing about MMA or any combat sports and treat is as a typical Goodlife of Golds Gym.

--working here is great, the owner & manager are flexible with working hours and will accommodate each person as much as possible.
--full time hours are possible but not an every day thing
--There is a lot of cleaning of the gym that is done by the employees that work the morning shift...not as bad as it sounds..could get paid an extra $ for it though
-- Great atmosphere here with members and staff. Regulars are like family

The focus is on converting members into UFC fans and pay per view buys. Their primary concern is the UFC brand and image. Customer satisfaction and profitability are secondary. If your looking for a business of passion and being part of the larger UFC community UFC GYM is a great way to go. If you are looking for a turn key profitable fitness chain, you have better options out there.

As much as I appreciated the opportunity given to me there, I would not work there again. 
The everyday people you dealt with (gym members) were amazing. The owners, not so much. No job security and they do not care for their staff.

A great healthy environment - fun and energetic team, fair compensation and commission system. Filled with growth opportunities. It's both work and play; lots of fun.
